These were blademasters of the order, but They stood no chance against Sidious because he was powerful. Mace had his own style, were he was invincible with it, he was never defeated(i think) and he got killed by that wimp Anakin when he cut off his hand. And without his hand he couldn't bitchslap Anakin, sooo he got killed. A shame really.
