My Sani Rani (dtr), Himalaya is one year old, half Thai & Nepalese, and she is addicted to this video. We are amazed of how can such a small baby so tuned to this particuliar video!!!??? I really love this song because this song has a very sweet and lovely meaning in the whole song. But I feel so sad, when I am listening to this song and watching the video because I know what is happing and showing in this video, because I am from Nepal. I enjoyed myselve when I am listening and watching the video because I love the Nepali Folk Musics all the times. Thanks for priserving and promoting our culture.

This reminds me of what my friend from Nepal said. She a lot of girls (and sometimes boys) get forced into arranged marriage their parents just pick someone for them to marry and it doesn't matter if the young person is already in love and doesn't love the person she (or he) is being forced to marry....for girls especially it is total societal rejection if they say no to their parents and the country is poor and no jobs for girls and where would they go? Nepali culture's still beautiful though.
