Many of the early artists just considered themselves Rock'n'Rollers and didn't care for being designated as Hillbillies. I didn't hear the term until it was applied to my own music in about 1978, but I liked the word, and began at that time looking for more music called Rockabilly. Ronnie besides being great guy was wonderful performer. Enjoyed his music and live shows. Rockabilly lives on!
