great solo man. Gotta give you props! say, a while back i came across this song but in the form of a cover. it was a more upbeat faster rendition, & all the horns were replaced by sonic guitar solos. I know it wasn't iron maiden, but it had their kind of style to it. Do you know what I'm talking about? do u might know the band?

@strat0caster266 idk where you would practically use alternate picking in this solo. it may just be a personal preference thing, but, being based mostly on a pentatonic scale, i find it much simpler to use mostly hammer ons and pull offs and not do much picking at all for that matter. but, like i said, probably a personal preference thing, you could go zakk wylde and alternate pick the hell out of the pentatonic scale if you wanted haha ;)
