This was the very first shooter game I ever got. I believe it was in 2004.. i must have been 11-12 years old. I still play it and loves it even if I finished it years ago. ;)

Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Wolfenstein (2009) are maybe the best games ever. I hope there will be another game in the future. :)

If they'd made this into a full-feature film including exposition on Heinrich's campaign of war, an extended scene of the encounter between Heinrich and the sorceror, and a lengthy first-person experience through all the levels, it'd make millions at the box office, no question. But they'd have to make it look flawless with today's photorealistic animation; NO half-assing a movie like the RtCW adaptation.

What I loved about this game was the kind of serious design but still full of fantasy and the maps. Castles, crypts... The zombies and monsters were awesome. All of that was lost with the new Wolfenstein.

I read somewhere that the doom marine is the ancestor of the guy in wolfenstein and that he's just completing his work by fighting hell which swore vengance on the guy in wolfenstein and his kin.

it's descendent, but yeah that is true. in wolfenstein rpg, you fight the harbinger of doom, which essentially is the cyberdemon w/o the cyber parts. you actually cut off his arm and leg in that game, and later, in doom, you see the cyberdemon with the cyber parts replacing the parts he lost. i also read that commander keen is his grandson.

i have also noticed that the guy in this video looks like the guy from the game heretic.

The game's amazing, but SP isn't that so special. The story is kind of...weak a bit, the cutscenes at OSA HQ can be a real snore, and barely any level is memorable (not to mention they can be quite short too)...

But enemies are tough, and nazi elite chicks are hot and nasty. Weapons are solid and powerful (Venom Gun and MP40 are my favorite). Overall, great game, but MP is the best aspect.

But this intro is epicly amazing, just to show the great comeback of Wolfenstein.

Ich habe dich schon richtig verstanden. "Heinrisch" ist keine korrekte standarddeutsche Aussprache, bestenfalls eine stark dialekt gefärbte, etwa in der Region um Köln herum.

"Heinrick" hingegen ist gar nicht so verkehrt. Im Altsächsischen (das trifft auf Heinrich I. im 10.Jhd zu) hätte der Name wohl Heinrik oder Henrik geheißen. Der Laut "-ich" findet sich derzeit in mittel- und oberdeutschen Regionen.

Return To Castle Wolfenstein is the top FPS ever, its old, and hell with it i still play it, and it beats Halo. Halo is praised for its multiplayer thats it. Wolfenstein is way better than Halo. Hands down
