  • hey, do you happen to know why the foot bones spin on their x axis when i raise the Orbital_Ctrl_Principale object? seems to be a bug...

  • Well, I guest the swivel controls for the foot is not placed adequately try to put it somewhere else and see if it help ... this will be fix in the next update :-)

    Martin

  • excellent :)

another nice animation tool would be to include a way of saving "pose" snapshots for the hands and body, similarly the way character studio does it. not sure how difficult that would be, but it's a thought.

  • This was already planed and in fact it was available in version 5.1 if I remember well but I removed it because it need to be done once everything over :-)

  • Thank, if you rig something with it, I really like to see, so that I can see the area that need improvement !

  • I would say one thing that needs improvement is the spine I want my character to have his chest out you know like in the movie when a person just stands and looks up at the sky.

  • updated for max9, you can grab it from scriptspot.

    regard,

    MarTroYx

  • thanks it worked! AMAZING RIG BY THE WAY!

  • ok your right, I'll look into this !

  • Which max version are you using ?

  • 3ds max 9!

  • once the files are located in right folder, from inside 3dsmax you can :

run the main .mse file directly by going to maxscript-->run script or you can run the .mcr file witch will install the script in the category martroyx, then you can add it to your toolbar by going to customise ui.

  • I did it many times but it says sytax error at bad! What does that mean?

  • I meant SYNTAX

  • make sure that :

all the .bmp files are in 3dsmax\scripts\DinoRigCreator

the main .mse files go throught 3dsmax\scripts

and the .mcr file go throught 3dsmax\ui\macroscripts

  • which should it be B or C I'm really confussed ! I don't have a lot of experience in MaxScript so this is realy hard for me! :) Could you be a little more clear?

  • How do you install this script! PS I've downloaded both winrars!

  • There's no working controls for the head, so you just have to use your own for now!

  • you must be kidding me?

Just push seven gray button on the right and you'll have a completed rig :-)

all the other controls, are for ajusting the overall shape of rig.

  • i really am new at this and would really like to know what you did to get the skelaton to come up ? have watched the video about 20 times to try and catch what you did , and the documentation really isn't that clear on all the procedures ! thanks for your cooperation and hope to hear from you

  • Can wait to get the new version ! Thanks man ! Keep up the good work !

  • Muscle has been disabled in this version but should be available in the new version, called "XBrain", a lots of new feature will be added too! So stay tuned :-)

  • Very good stuff ! I must try this ! Thanks for sharing ! How can I open "muscle menu" ? It is another script ?
