It was worth it in a sense that it is a prototypical revolution that broke the cold war. It is the first of its own type. The revolution started with Ninoy's charisma then his death in 1983.

25 years ago. Ngayon anniversary na naman nang People Power Revolution. Was it worth it? Syempre it was. High School freshman ako noon when this happened. Thankful ako dahil hindi ko na-experience ang buhay noong may Martial Law sa bansa. Proud ako na kasama ako sa EDSA to share this experience sa next generation..sila naman ang dapat matuto na bigyan importansya ang freedom nila at gamitin ito sa tama.

im sure 60% sumali sa EDSA 1,nakadilat mga mata ngayon dhil sa kwalan ng tamang kita.economy getting worse lalo na nung pinalitan ni cory ang constitution nung 1987.dpat sa filipino mag aral more on economics para makita nila ang epikto sa mga ginagawa nilang protest sa kalsada.i read one video cory nung she's campaining.. if anything has ever made me proud to be born and live in the Philippines for 10 years of my life (through this people power), this was it, and this alone is probably the only thing that has made be proud or want to boast that I am filipino.

@franzcristian The answer is that it WAS worth it. We have democracy. The only problem is that we have not lived up to our own expectations. Immediately after the revolution, we completely ignored the government and did our own business. We didn't have time to be vigilant and united. Now look where we are. We only hope that we have not failed the countless people who fought for us. Now, let us join together and BE the nation-builders. Let us make our forefathers proud of us. :-)
