  • I was wondering where the 2008 video you mentioned is, I can't find it.

  • @NeilSonOfNorbert Sorry, it was taken down by Youtube. I'll re-record it again and post it up in October.

  • @GayComicGeek ok, thanks.

  • paul, where is your coming out story? I can't find it.

  • You guys look like siblings or cousins.

  • I really felt you coming out story we tend to feel the pressure of the whole subject, a good support system is key, keep it up I admire you guys. Peace

  • OH, I had more room after all! ANYWAY, I was leading in 2 the need 4 GLBT people 2 continue 2 B ACTIVE in pressing 4 legal, political and, yes, RELIGIOUS reform. (Actually the religious reform has already, finally, "taken off" with some MAJOR mainline denonimations significantly "changing their tune" on such issues lately). But the job is FAR from done, even though great progress WAS made.

  • All my previous comments should reflect the fact that my OPINION of your videos, and your persons, is quite high. COMING OUT, though, Paul (and then Steve, also an excellent job), is really only STEP #1 of what the GLBT community needs 2 do! I know Paul released a video about the "older generation" and how they simply "don't get it" (and they really don't, sadly).

  • This is so corny. A lot of people that I youtubed on coming out tends to like comics :)

  • of course. my mother is the SHIT. She loves me so much and is the most special person in the world.

  • =3 thank you i showed ur video to my best freiand how happens to be gay and he finaly came out ur the best he had been hiding it for like 6 years =3 just remember ur amazing

  • Hi there!

Just watched a couple of your vid's.

Thank you for sharing and making me smile!

I'm not quite out yet, only to very few good friends and my sister, aka those poeple where I knew how they'd react. And although that has been a great experience, I'm still very nervous about my brothers, parents and other relatives. I'm a pretty good judge oc charakter and they probably won't be as acepting as the rest...

    Thank you for posting!

  • Also I was wondering on your coming out story, that you've mentioned. You said your family is, or at least was kind of redneck, which can be said about my father and 2 of my brothers.

I can't seem to find your video though, either I'm too stupid or it's not uploaded anymore.

Could you maybe post a link?

I'd like your perspective on handling bad family reactions.

I kind of can't just go up and leave if things go really badly..

Hi from germany, and have a nice evening (since you're 6h behind).

  • Just one of many great videos.

    Thank you for sharing.

It is your private channel, so it is not possible to "flaunt it", because no one has to watch it.

fotpTV is just full of it!

And anyway, it is impossible for us homosexuals to "flaunt it" anymore than heterosexuals do, because they "flaunt it" every second of everyday, e.g. on movies, tv, malls, etc.!

  • amen, spread the word.

  • Wonderful video, thank you both!

  • You are soooo cute!

  • coming out has got 2 b a personal choice

  • I'm not flaunting. Flaunting is synonymous with gloating and this is far from it. This is my coming out story. I am simply giving the world insight on a part of my life.

  • Comment removed

  • i wasnt talking to you....

  • AMEN, brother.

  • this is awesome. thanks for sharing!

  • You two are such a perfect couple, I could just burst. You guys are a true inspiration.

  • Great Vid, guys! Yeah, I love you guys too.

I came out again, 2 years ago. I remember mostly everyone wouldn't believe me, at first heheheh, especially the women. :)

That made it a bit difficult. heh. Eventually, I guess, they believed me :) My sisters have always known; my mother, being old fashioned, was angry. I suppose she accepts it on some level, now.

    Anyway, great vid!

  • Your vids are making this world a better place. I am so proud of you both...

  • Gods, I wish mine had been like YOURS--it was traumatic! My mom ambushed me while driving in the car along the high way, she believed I didn't know what I was talking about, and even took me to a CEMETERY[!!!] while she was sobbing, because one of her cousins was gay and had died from HIV/AIDS early on (I wish I could have known him as a role-model in my life!). My dad, when he pretty much knew, could have cared less. But, my initial experience was TRAUMATIC!!! Mom found a letter I had wrote

  • Both of you are cute guys and seem to make a great couple. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not when I suggested that you put your boyfriend on your videos.

  • You guys are too cute together! Great story!!

  • Awesome guys! Keep up the good work!

  • Great video.Love you guys.

  • NICE if i wuld hav never done it, this wuld hav inspired me so much

  • Very nice, inspiring story...what a treat this was! Thanks guys! :D

  • Nice job, guys. Both of you.

  • What a great story. It's great that you both support one another. Paul, I hope that you include Steve in more of your videos. You are an amazing couple.

  • your name is Paul?

  • GCG I dont want your bf to come i meant come out lmmfao.

  • I could understand why you would want to come I saw my cousin go through people trying to set up with dates with girls and I knew he was gay, but it wasnt my place to do it. Even though I told the fam to give it a rest he's not lonely trust me hahahaha. They said his buddy wore short that were like Daisy Duke and that his buddy was too girly I just put my head in my hands. I was the only straight one that got it. This is another reason why a day had to come out for people to come out "numb fam".

  • Beautiful story... and yes, having support from friends and family is very important :)

  • How awesome to hear from Steve! This was great!

  • That was beautiful. Thanks for sharing this, Steve and Paul.

[I will do the same when I have a better camera, and can trim my ramblings down to ten minutes.]

  • Many thanks!

  • Gratz to your bf for joining the fun of youtube.

  • I've always felt that I needed to be out to people I know since it helps put a face on homosexuality to others.
