That "To Zanarkand" arrangement was amazing. I found myself staring like an idiot and when it was over, I snapped back to reality and all I thought was "amazing". Your playing is both very emotional and creative. It'd be great to see more people play by ear and by what they think is right, rather than slavishly following a single transcription. Musicians such as you are rare, w3sp.

what is the horrible hiss in the background? So distracting to do such a beautiful piece and have poor sound quality...I felt like the pacing for all of them overall was too fast. Interpretation or not, your skill is there I just think it was way too rushed.

It's called lots and LOTS of practice, anyone can get there and beyond who pays the price! This is very well played and nicely interpreted. As far as piano music goes, it's not all that complex. I agree, though, he does pull it off very smoothly, especially the prelude part. I've seen other videos on YouTube of people trying to play the prelude and they don't get it nearly as fluid as this guy, he takes the cake!
