Im a panthers fan and i personally think we got lucky in that NFC Championship game, first of all we got away with a cheap shot on Mcnabb which changed the game hugely, and we would intercept it IN THE REDZONE like 2 times, and not to mention the forced fumble from smith that got called back because he was down, that game was just unlucky for the Eagles

As for the coaching changes, I gotta say I really do like what the organization has done. The Castillo hiring as the defensive coordinator obviously came out of nowhere, but I do actually like that move. The other moves may seem minor but they actually make a big difference out on the field. Hopefully the players and the owners figure out a new CBA so there is a season.

He had a chance to be great, but he never pulled it off. Can't tell you how many times in 10 years I screamed at the TV because we needed a big throw and it was in the dirt or over the receiver's head. Hall of Famers make those throws.

However, I have plenty of memories where Donovan played fantastic in big games such as 2004 against the Cowboys on Monday Night or the Packers. Donovan will always be remembered as a good Quarterback, not a great one. Plus, Vick will never have a game like that again. He was playing on a level in which we never saw before.

@haj890 - Stats don't tell the whole story. He never played well in big games, never came through in the clutch, but of course never won a Super Bowl. That will be the thing holding him back. He had a chance to be great, but he never pulled it off. Can't tell you how many times in 10 years I screamed at the TV because we needed a big throw and it was in the dirt or over the receiver's head. Hall of Famers make those throws.

Of course now the Eagles have a QB who also is not smart and will not lead us to a Super Bowl. However, I have plenty of memories where Donovan played fantastic in big games such as 2004 against the Cowboys on Monday Night or the Packers. Donovan will always be remembered as a good Quarterback, not a great one. Plus, Vick will never have a game like that again. He was playing on a level in which we never saw before.

@Eaglenation51 - I'm never going to put the blame completely on McNabb in that game because the defense didn't stop the Pats in the 2nd half at all. However, his picks were pretty bad especially the one that was intended for Westbrook in the red-zone. However, I also think that if McNabb got some good receivers when he first started playing, he would have won a Super Bowl. All I remember was Na Brown, Charles Johnson, Todd Pinkston and James Thrash as his "go-to" receivers. They were not good.
