I managed to be at Gateway during the ribbon cutting. I was originally going to be with the crowd but I discovered the batteries in my camera were nearly dead just after saying hi to Mayor Katz. So, I decided to go up and stand on the pedestrian bridge while everything was happening. I managed to get a few pictures, including the first wave of vehicles coming from Henderson. I also saw the fire dept. trucks going by only 30 mins after it opened. I wonder if that's a sign of things to come!
