Congratulations on a fine video. No doubt you've moved on to greater things. But I'll tell you I think what makes it work well is the way you flow in and out of congruity with the song. At times it seems as though the character I'm watching has no energy while the singer does, which is always funny, and yet at times they match. That creates tension. Plus you're quite cute. (Funny how people can't identify a wig, judging from comments). Lastly, I believe this song predates air quotes.

I grew up in the southern united states, and we listened to this song adnauseum as teenagers in the early early 90's. It retains its playability to this day, as does most of the late 70's early 80's pop/punk groups from the UK..
