@Colnando I got a 68 cougar with a 2v cleveland in it.. Im just wondering if you could fit headers in your cougar with such little space? Any word on that would be very helpfull..

Thats the only way you will get the full performance out of the cleveland after 7000rpm their not torque monters in the low and mid range area.

Hydraulic or solid or roller cam? I buzz my hydraulic to 7500 rpm but am much more comfortable running it about where you just did in the vid! Most people who own clevelands freak out when they hear how high rpms we turn! I love it man!

damn got that thing built ... i wouldnt dare run mine up to 7 .. 6 its skreaming but the cam is for higher i just dont want to blow up my engine

@Hotrodx199, hell yea you can spin more rpm's with a 289 for cheaper than you can with a 351 clevelnland... but both motors caint be beat!!!

Am i able to get a basically stock 289 small block to turn that high of rpms? I know it has a light after market cam and a 4 barrel carb.
