Dallas Season 8 Opening 1985-1986

Barbara BelGeddes coming back for the 85-86 season helped Dallas alot. Donna Reed didnt have what it took to be Miss Ellie. Interviews w/ the execs have said the moment BBG seen DR appear as Miss Ellie she called them & said she wanted to come back. Larry Hagman, Leonard Katzman put into motion to bring BBG back. Replacing the key core characters never worked for Dallas. When Jim Davis died in they didnt repace him & Jock was an even bigger part of the show. Jim played him larger than life..

Priscilla Presley looked beautiful here one of those women with amazing eyes, you cant buy those. If only you left your face alone like Linda Gray did you would have been a timeless beauty.

@MrInmyopinion I agree - Priscilla Presley looked fantastic during this season (as she did the previous season with longer hair). Starting with the '86-'87 season, producers dressed her in frumpy clothes and she looked a bit "disheveld." I guess it was because she was temporarily poor again before marrying Bobby's multi-millionaire half brother Ray Krebbs. I was a Jenna fan and was glad to see her living the good life she deserved with a rich husband.

This theme from the 8th Season of Dallas is actually the best.

As of the 9th & subsequent Seasons the music was more synthesised, tinny-sounding & doesn't have the powerful bass that this season's theme had.

Also, as of the 9th Season the picture quality went down, they filmed less & less at Southfork, the clothes were no longer done by Travilla & most importantly the story telling & character development dropped.

The dream season...I'm one of the few to think that this was actually well handled by the producers. Bobby and Pam back together, goodbye to the dreadful Jack and Jamie, awful Mark Graison, welcome back classic Dallas. For a couple of seasons at least.

It seems like forever ago that this show was on, and I watched a few episodes with my mom (if she let me stay up...which wasn't always). I seem to remember that Jenna Wade ended up marrying Ray Krebbs. Am I mistaken, and if I'm not how did they end up together when Jenna was so much in love with Bobby?

When Jenna was kicked out of Southfork she had nowhere to go and Ray offered her somewhere to stay. By then Donna had left - the house, not the programme.

Szerintem a 7. év végéig,Bobby "haláláig" volt élvezhető és követhető az egész,innentől viszont elvitték már egyfajta misztikus irányba a történetet,úgy össze-vissza kuszálva mindenféle szereplőket és szálakat,hogy tök érthetetlenné vált minden...akkoriban szokott le az ismeretségi köröm nagyrésze Dallas-nézésről. :D

hát ez rohadt nagy hiba volt sajnos

tudod amikor láttam azt a részt hogy bobby meghal rámjött  a szívbaj. azután nagy nehezen megszoktam hogy már nincs benne a sorozatba. bobby ki akart lépni a sorozatból de a rajongók azt akarták hogy visszajöjjön. aztán amikor életre kelt akkor aztán télleg szívbajt kaptam.

Dallas by season 8 had lost the plot totally. Having spent season 7 adjusting to Donna Reed (totally miscast - she did her best) as Miss Ellie, Barbara Bel Geddes suddenly pops back up - John Beck as mark now isnt dead from season 6 and bobby isnt dead from season 7 and katherine isnt dead from season 7 surplus roles for jenna, donna and ray - lucy missing from season 7 no explanation and pam's hair twice as long and she only went to sleep for 8 hrs and jack and jamie ewing where's Dynasty!

:-)) Ebből a szempontból a legjobb rész, amikor Pamela felkel álmából és rányit Bobbyra a zuhanyzóban...ezzel ér véget az évad. A következő évad elején Pam megint a zuhanyzóban áll és próbálják ott folytatni a jelenetet:-) Persze más a haj és a poén az, hogy még a fürdőszoba csempéje is megváltozik:-)

LOL Én emlékszem arra a részre, amikor Bobby "feltámadt". Éppen betegen feküdtem otthon, hétfő reggel volt, anyukámmal néztem a Dallas ismétlését, mikor egyszercsak megjelent Bobby... :D :D :D Anyukám kb. sokkot kapott (az előző évad befejező részét asszem nem látta)... :D :D :D
