I'm asian and I have a monolid on one of my eyes. The other one is a double eyelid. So what I do with the monolid is that I take a very thin piece of tape, I tape it about 3-4 mm above my lashline. I let it there for about 20 min... Then I take it of and a have a double lid, and my eyes look equal. It holds for 1 day to many weeks, just dont rub your eyes too much. (; Hope it was helpful!

@chrispark0222 I don't think so. However, I've been using glue for about a year and sometimes it kinda carries over to the next day even if I peel it off but I doubt it will ever get permanent. The faking of the double eyelid makes your eyelid VERY DRY over time and scaly.

@chrispark0222 I'm not sure, since I'm not one of those people. I do hear though that tape creates it over time, but from my experience, I think that works better for people who have thinner monolids that tends to flip itself.

I think it's great either way. It is all about what makes YOU happy and accept it. Not against plastic surgery but it's those people that altered their features and then ACT So da** PROUD of it as if they think they were born so beautiful. Well, it's ALL FAKE. @watashiwaadilahdesu Try placing the lashes closer to the inner corners, or make the lash bone thicker with another layer of lashes. Sometimes, making a crease with a toothpick or the wrong end of the tweezer is enough encouragement for the crease to form after putting on the lashes.

If you you have half-hidden double lids, it usually will not work.

I use a waterproof glue meant for making double eyelids, so the hold is pretty strong on them and if I use a liquid eyeliner instead of a creamy eyeliner, the hold on them is 12+ hours (in Vegas heat!). Used over a creamy eyeliner, it lasts for about 9 hours. However, I don't have very oily eyelids and I use them over an eyeshadow primer. If you are doubtful, you can try spirit gum instead, which has pretty insane hold.

@luhvseungri In this tutorial, I bought lashes from Daiso and glued them together to make a thicker eyelash. You can also buy Darkness eyelashes (from Korean stores) and use those as well.

@xValurieChingkyx I guess the easiest way to explain it is... If you look at the sides of my nails, the corners are not very long compared to the actual nail, so if you clip them corner to corner, you get short, square nails. It's as if you took a nail file, and instead of filing them straight across at 90 degrees you tilted the file to 45 degrees and starting filing.

@killerkitty777 Thanks for the compliment. I actually posted the tutorial because there is a very big interest in the community for such a thing. I personally like my eyelids because I find that it gives me a very wide range of looks I can play with.

@mmmmmcake No, not really! If you're accustomed to putting on false eyelashes, it is very fast. There is a learning curve to it, but it's about as hard as putting on cream liner. I don't do this everyday, by the way. :3
