Alan.

Thanks Davie I will get some poly yarn in over the next few days, aswel as that clear ribbing what is the actual name for the material was on Spartan fishing tackle and can't seem to find it : -?
When Fishing Dries should you degrease your Fluro? If i dont i can see the line ontop of the water but if i do it sinks and pulls my fly under(Especially with small patters i.e midge)
I'm sorry if I haven't replied to some of your question I do try and answer them all.. If I have to use fluorocarbon when I'm fishing dries I will only use it at the tippet connected to a tapered cast which will be nylon, this will help even if you degrease the cast and the nylon will not pull your dry down.
You never annoyed me at all it's all the e-mails I get as it can take me up to 3 hours to answer all the questions I'm asked., this month I have had over 500 so I will miss one or two..I'm one of three or four tyers that are going to be there, others like Paul Little and Duncan Egan who are both top class tyers..
Absolute killer fly as usuail, keep up the good work Davie and thanks for all the great patterns and insperation. Have caught many a fish with your patterns
top notch Davie, cheer for getting back to me on that.

Excellent pattern as always Davie
could antron be used instead of the poly yarn?
Kendo2007 1 year ago
Hi Kenny (Kendo2007),
Antron is better than nothing but to be honest I feel the poly yarn looks and works much better...
