I don't think the MLS will ever be able to become as good as the European powers of football. The top 9 nations of football are (not in any order) brazil, argentina, france, england, italy, spain, germany, netherlands and portugal. If the leagues were ranked in each of these countries they would probably all be above the MLS which shows that because USA are not great at football their league will never be, because of the quality of players and the origins of football.
