  • @TBHPaTa Thanks for checking out the vid! :p Perhaps this might help ya... U = upstroke D = downstroke F: DDDU G: DDDU C: DDDU Am: DDDU F: DDDU G: DDDU C: DDUUDU Basically even in the chorus there will mostly be the same timing and Up and Down Strokes... 3xD 1xU and 2xU 2xU 1xD 1xU... Thanks again :)
  • @ListentoVoid Thanks alot. Your my new hero of the year. Cheers for quick reply and awesome tutorial, Keep it up.

  • @TBHPaTa Lol u just made my day!!! :P

  • the F chord is hard...how long you learn this

  • @kuan687 ah that initial stage of pressing down 2 strings with one finger is a lil tough but with much practice you will be able to do it I promise... when you do the simple basic F major chord remember to use your thumb to press hard on the back of the fretboard or guitar neck to give the chord shape more strength.

Once the skin on the finger tips starts getting coarser and you can press on the chord shape harder, the note will sound true when u strum the chord...

  • go to american idol or british got talent, go to some of that things in your country, your probably go to the 10 finals xD

  • @RoDrakka Wow that's probably one of the Biggest compliments ever! Unfortunately I am kinda shy :p hence the headless/faceless videos... also my day job prevents me from being exposed to the media... If only I could join those kinda shows with a bag over my head or something :P but then again I am just happy to be The Void! Your friendly neighborhood online beginner guitar mentor :)

    G: DDDU

    C: DDDU

    Am: DDDU

    F: DDDU

    G: DDDU

    C: DDUUDU

Basically even in the chorus there will mostly be the same timing and Up and Down Strokes... 3xD 1xU and 2xU 2xU 1xD 1xU...

PM me if you need more detailed help I'll get back to ya... til then keep on rocking!!! :)

  • @ListentoVoid Hey mate, what strings are you picking when you fingerpick? :)

  • @dystino The finger picking intro is something like this:

    F: 4, 3, 2, 1, 2.

    G: 6, 3, 2, 1, 2.

    C: 5, 3, 2, 1, 2.

    Am: 5, 3, 2, 1, 2.

    F: repeat.

    G: repeat.

    C: 5, 4, 3, 2, 3, 4, 5.

(okay the numbers refer to the strings you hit, I dont really know how else to write it) Hope this helps :p thanks for cheking out my vids...

  • @ListentoVoid I understood what you meant with the numbers and this worked well. Thanks you very much, now I can play this song to my GF :)

  • @dystino AWESOME!!! Glad to be of service rock on man!

  • @ListentoVoid

man how to do it by picking?? help me thanks alot

  • i wish i can strum but im only good at picking

  • @spacho1 hey no worries you can technically pick the whole song like the intro that I did... strumming is actually a whole lot easier than picking so if you can pick you can definitely learn how to strum with ease... keep on practicing and rocking ya!

  • nice

  • @marcuspluto THANKS!!! : )

  • Very Nice!

  • @vidarmarkussen thanks man :P you're being so very kind... check out more vids soon ya...

  • @WilhtexHD Hi there, for the F chord you hit the 5th string when you strum down, 6th string for the G, 5th for C and Am... or are you referring to the finger picking intro bit? F: 4, 3, 2, 1, 2. G: 6, 3, 2, 1, 2. C: 5, 3, 2, 1, 2. Am: 5, 3, 2, 1, 2. F: repeat. G: repeat. C: 5, 4, 3, 2, 3, 4, 5. (okay the numbers refer to the strings you hit, I dont really know how else to write it) Hope this helps :p thanks for cheking out my vids...

  • @WilhtexHD

    - Totally agree!

.. Btw. It sounds good in the low tunes, but in the high .. not so good!

  • @pipfisen yeah hahahaha I cant really go that high I tried though to play and sing it in the original key most play it lower to suit thier own voices but since this is supposed to be a tutorial I tried... :) thanks for checking out my tutorials and keep coming back for more vids soon...
