I to was an extra in this movie. I was part of the Salem, Oregon section where they held the football game. I was one of the stats writers that stood behind the Game announcers and also part of the audience while Tony Randall danced around in his Guru out fit. Tony Randall was on a talk show 7 years later and said they were going to release it from the shelves but under a different name which eludes me at this time but still looking.
I was an extra in this movie. My former co-worker and one woman who still worked in our office showed up and got cast. I was just 26 at the time (1980). We waited and waited for this movie to be finally shown on t.v. in 1984. The big star we were gaga over was Grant Goodeve (Eight is Enough). We were interviewed by the local newspaper and appeared on the front page the next day, I still have the black and white photos of us in costume. The movie sank, but it was great fun for us!
@EweTube4 - I was an extra in this movie, too! I was one of the 'Organies' and spent a lot of time around Tony Randall. It was great fun. One night, a bunch of us went out to dinner in Corvallis with Steven Furst, and some of the other actors. Wow!!!
The part where the hippie chick was prancing around going "I wish a was a big fluffy cloud!" made me giggle. And there's some dude dressed like Jesus! Cheesy, campy fun.
And, yes, Adam Baldwin looks yummy with long hair.
I dont know who I am more sorry for, Adam Baldwin for being in that, me for watching it, or humanity for having it exist. That has to be the worst thing I have ever seen!

This one was from 1980, but somehow they didn't air it on TV until 1984, it's based on a true story!
