Oh a note, Linkara, Hipworn quivers were not common due ti price, but very useful on a battlefield as it allowed the archer to carry far more arrows :p

Archers dont run in shoot in reality due to the way you have to aim a bow and the strength it takes. So already that is physics defying. Care to play again?

In your review of Superman at Earth's End review you mentioned something called Elseworld story when explaining the book's history. What is exactly does Elseworld mean?

"Elseworlds" is basically DC's idea of Marvel's "What if?" series.  In essence, they take superheroes familiar to the reader and add a new twist, like: what if Batman became Green Lantern? Or, what if Batman was a knight in King Arthur's court? Or what if Batman was a vampire? (Most are with Batman)

P.S. You must be color blind. Red Arrow's hair is red. Some redheads look more like dark strawberry blonds. Also Starfire's skin is that nice golden orange color. I don't see the difference from this comic's color to the Teen Titan comics from the 80's except that today comic's colors are brighter with more tint and shade variation.

Also the fire at the end of Starfire's hair was always there. The fire is what propels her into flight. Its like a jet engine.

One of the images I showed was how he looked like a redhead in JLA. In this, he looks like a blonde. And you may be correct on that, but the coloring should be consistent across the board.

I like your reviews but....I think you are a little hard on this book. I am a fan of Ian Churchill's art. I love full page art. It allows the artist to put in more detail in the art. Also it is a first issue and it is building up the story. You can't give away the hole story in the first issue or else the reader will not come back for more. Plus characters must evolve there personality and look. They can't stay the same just because you are nostalgic for Wolf & Perez

Full-page spreads are perfectly fine when used in moderation. They're especially good for dramatic reveals, but in terms of sequential storytelling, which is what a comic is, having a THIRD of your book be full-page spreads is just fail.

And like I said in the review, natural change is just fine. But the changes we see in Raven were completely pulled from nowhere.

Very good points. Your right full-page spreads should be made sparingly. Comics lose there impact if the majority of the book is full-page panel. However I still feel you are being over critical. Your acting as if this is the worst comic ever made. This is probably a so-so book.

I have not red the Wolf & Perez Titans so we have a different perspective on the whole Raven character change.

I mean, I would be more of a DC fan if all those epics (52, Infinite Crisis, Countdown, bla blah) could be even 1/8th as good as COIE (1985).
