  • how many degrees is each kelvin worth?

  • if we have blue star we will look like those human like creature from movie avatar

  • luv this video & music !

  • WE ARE SO SMALL :O

    someone forgot a Zero xD

at 4:00 -4:13 POLLUX should be bigger than ARCTURUS ;)

    n1ce vid

  • VV CEPHEI=3300kelvin-3650kelvin

    Our sun is so cold.............

  • Man i'm trippin out.

  • i want a blue sun !

  • you wish! but it's could cool to have a sun blue, Grand Dreamer!!! XD

  • I bet that big VV CEPHEI star would swallow our solar system up. I bet it has 200 planets in its system one has to have life on it ...

  • whats with the austrailian digery doo iranian techno trance pop musik?

  • wow puts it all into perspective. When things stress me out I just remember how big the universe is and how small my problems are, totally chills me out

  • but size of the universe hasn't got anything to do with the size of your mental emotions.

  • way to miss the point.

im just saying it put things in perspevtive for me. like last year i lost a really big account cos i fucked up... was a tough time for me, thought my career was over. i was on a final warning and i couldnt handle the stress. so i flew back home for a break, and one night i was outside for a smoke my niece comes out and im trying to explain about the universe and stuff, then it just kind of hit me, shit happens! its no big deal, it put my own small problem in perspective

  • @lucasleivia wow.. thanks man... I just got fired from my job and am stuck in a 3rd world counrty and looking for work... stresssin out too! good to have perspective. back home I would go out to the falls or the canyon and chill for a few days, good to read this

  • its tragic what might happen to earth

  • really good video :)

    love the music

    should i dance?

  • I can see my house!

  • lol

  • the scale of the universe is mind blowing! i meen i bet people go crazy over this! like the "hitch hickers guid to the unvivers"!

  • the universe is so large, our perspective is so small, humanity even choose to avoid the large perspectives. we should be humble, but we act and talk as we're the creator of the universe.

  • Rigel looks cool :o

  • agreed lets go there instead

  • all those stars/planets are fake right?:o no1 has ever been this far right?:O

  • um of course. we can only see light from these stars which took X ammount of years to reach the earth. So its like 10s or 100s of years old. That being said, how the hell can people travel the speed of light *they cant* so these are digital representations of said stars which can be viewed via high powered telescopes.

  • Well actually most stars a farther away than just 10 or 100 lightyears.

Furthermore you can take a shortcut through space with the Warpengine... You just need to build it and then get unimaginable loads of energy to run it... :D

  • The planet has spent billions of dollars on watching space. If a big rock hit the earth why waste the money and scare people.

  • um duh because we would want to know so we had time to take preparative action against such a thing.

Do u honestly think we spend billions of dollars to research these things JUST so we can know ahead of time and then have a mass orgy as we await our imminent demise? No...

  • Does anyone have a photograph, video or something showing how close the asteroid was to Earth? Can someone upload that, please?

  • great vid. scary thing is that VV Cephei isn't the largest star, it's VY Canis Majoris. It takes 8 years for light to travel around its circumference it's so big! (Wikipedia could tell you the rest ;)

  • ...Thx -I'm Sure that part will need much Up Dating in Future? But in all Honesty Internet ver2 will be considerably Old at that time!,We will be dust by then.

  • What? That sounds a bit far fetched. A light year is a long freaking way. 8 years to travel 1 circumfrance of a star? That means the circumfrance is like here to Alpha centauri and back a few times. JUST to go in a circle? I dunnno mannnnn

  • takes 8 hours not years ;)

  • ...I"m Never Going There So?, So Better Take That Edit Up With The Person/s That Edits Wiki:)..It's Pasted

  • no, pluto takes eight light hours, this is probably hundreds.

  • *hundreds of years.

the galaxy is about 100,000 light YEARS across.

  • eh? we are talking about the length of time it would take for light to travel AROUND the star itself not travel to earth! someone below said it would take light 8 years to travel around the equatorial diameter of the big star but it should have been 8hours which makes more sense.

  • man where tiny like a pebble

  • i would say even tinier, more like a mustard seed surrounded by the Sahara desert.

  • im gonna pass out wth is sirus i mean i thought the sun was big man this makes me scared look at all the bigger stuff

  • the sun is actually a middle aged average sized star, now sirus is a super giant or something big like that but it is a dying star and very massive, u have nothing to worry buot

  • our Sun is a yellow dewarf star small compared to other stars but we will keep it it keeps us alive lol ....

  • only the british monarch will remain in the end of the world.....they are great idiots.

  • nice video

  • :O:O we don´t exist in the UNIVERS

  • haha goddamn yothu yindi

  • holy crap! and i thought our sun was big

  • me too

  • Lets start walking^^

  • By looking.

  • Thanks for the fish!

  • fabtasic :D

  • The ending was perfect. WOW we are tiny. Amazing how we think so much of ourselves.

  • IMPRESSIVE!

  • TTHHAATSSS HHUUUGGEE :DD

  • there are bigger stars than w cephi.. i think its taurus somthing, in orions belt or something like that!

  • Canis majoris is the biggest known star.If it was placed at the center of our solar system it would reach the Saturn´s orbit.

  • Mind blowing...

  • I'm a middle school science teacher and would like to show this video to my students however, youtube is a blocked site from school computers due to some inappropriate content. Is there anyway you would release your video for educational purposes as a download?

    Thank you,
