guys ... im havin a problem with my midi. it happens that I didnt sign anything for my midi keyboard and it already has some keys of the piano that have functions, and i would really like to be able to full use my piano, how do I take those functions off?
I have an M-Audio 49 key and when I tried to do the MIDI Mapping I clicked the fader and moved my fader and nothing happened... I also trid hitting the button under it to activate it or seomthing but it did not work either.. any help?
@aristurtle1 Hey.. yeah idk but it's working. Make sure ur doing MIDI mapping instead of Key mapping. i was a newb and was doing key maps pretty sure...

I was just wondering if you know why audio clips keymapped to the same keys as locators in video, for launching sections of video rythymically/ VJing for fun, would not launch the clips on time with the video sections. Also, if you do know about that stuff, can I record the VJing as a full screen video project.

Im using a Compaq Presario CQ60 laptop with AMD Sempron,2.10 GHZ,3GB RAM,Vista Service Pack 1,32 bit operating system,NO external sound card yet .Thank you
@japanluv Its called latency...or something like that lol...Just open up preferences from the option menu...general and lower your output buffer size...its going to change the sound a bit tho...its going to click or glitch a bit...so when youre not playing on ur keyboard put it back to normal

hey, I use ablrton with my mpk 49, the faders , nobs etc... are automatically assigned to ableton but I can't change it, nothing responds when I go to midi , move a nob or watever to assign it but nothing responds. Can anyone help ? thanks a lot

I have an Akai MPK49 and it came with Ableton. What's weird is after installing Ableton I don't seem to have any instruments in the software. Or I just can't find them, I don't know.
