I have a C4Y teraminx as of today and i turns horrible... I lubed it... is it just my particular puzzle or do I need to loosen the srews/break in or something?
@yarbone7 Not sure. You could try loosening it I guess, but you'll want to keep it fairly tight otherwise pieces will catch on each other and cause a pop.
@woodsy1234567890 If you already know how to solve a 7x7, the teraminx is really simple. Edge pairing is just a little more annoying, that's all. If not, you'll probably get the hang of it after 2 or 3 solves.
@fulfordfacebook I've never used an MF8. The quality of the C4U is obviously not perfect, but given the size of the puzzle, I'd say it is quite good. Especially compared to the gigaminx; you can finger trick the teraminx. It does lock up a bit, but nothing serious.
so basically if the megaminx is a 3x3, this would be the equivalent of a 7x7 right? well the scale factor (in terms of time) is almost the same, considering how bulky the puzzle is it inherently adds more time to manipulate.
I assume that based on 7 second 3x3 wr and somewhere around 4 minutes for the 7x7, with the megaminx around 55 sec to 1 min and this at 45.
Yay!, new PB, : 57:58.52!, hope to beat you one day, you starting to have a competitor here :D lol, you're still amazing at teraminx, can't beleive you did sub-50 lol. amanzing, simply amazing
@KeromaCuber012 Well... i have school and karate, so i don't have time to solve this too, but yeah, i'll try :P, i'm sure my next solve will be better than 57minutes because when i did it, at a certain point, i completely lost my concentration on the puzzle and was looking for pieces for minutes lol... but yeah, i'll try to beat you for sure :P
@KeromaCuber012 :P, well i don't have much time either lol, have school and karate too so... yeah, but i have plenty room for improvement and i'll try to beat you, but the problem is that we don't have any camera that can film long enough XD, but yeah, i'll definitly try to beat you :P
geting one of these for christmas...... i have only solved a megaminx and havn't touched a gigaminx... i hope im in for a challenge....

do you solve this like a megaminx only with center/edge paring first
woodsy1234567890 11 months ago
@woodsy1234567890 yes, similar to a 7x7x7 cube
KeromaCuber012 11 months ago
@KeromaCuber012
cool as i'm getting one soon
how long did it take you to learn

@KeromaCuber012 I can solve a 7X7 cube and a megaminx, so would I be able to solve this realitively easy?
ThelegendAtlas 3 months ago
@ThelegendAtlas Yeah it shouldn't be that bad, you just have to get the hang of it.
