  • Korn needed Dupstep to hide the fact that they just sucks musically. No more imagination. Those song have nothing interesting musically!

Since Head left, they made some interesting things, but Remember Who You are was just showing they where done. Yea this is absolutely new, but the problem is that.. It sound fucking gay..

  • chaos dosent live in 81 people

  • I've finally figured it all out. I only listened to this album for one reason. KoRn actually makes dubstep sound like music.

  • epic!

  • who is feat? he is in almost every song

  • @madman19931612 Are you stupid? Feat stands for featuring. Jesus.

  • @ElParkourPistols this is called a joke. god.

  • @madman19931612 Cause it was so funny.

  • @ElParkourPistols no, but do you know how hard it is to find a song thats says feat in stead of ft. so i needed a lot of patience to tell this joke, btw 9gag, seriously you didnt recognise it??

  • @combichrist666ify You think this, i don't.

  • These guys have been sucking ever since see you on the other side

  • 2:31 holy fuckshit

  • It's really different from what the gave us in the past but it sounds good to me. As a big Nine Inch Nails fan, I only can like the violence in the electro sounds !

  • uhhhh, this could almost be a britney spears song sorry

  • @rogerrobie68 Exactly how could this be a Britney Spears song. Just how.

  • @brogers1115 Lol, the vocals and lyrics, except for the breakdowns and the "chorus" sound like a pop song.

  • @brogers1115 "Coming on to you.." "The hell you got me through" "i'm always stuck in a place i really hated"...

  • i have been playin with my penis for a year and now im a master at it

  • @maggotsolider777 first off, that's 13 years, and you must not be practicing that hard, I see kids on YouTube flawlessly playing sweep picking and all kinds of crazy arpeggios and riffing after only been playing for 6 months. I'm trying to just give you another perspective and you're just being closed minded, and that's ok, it's what makes the world go around!! I personally enjoy some dubstep, I'm also an old school metal fan, I like modern rock, I like rap, I like it all, I appreciate the DIFF

  • @througharteries Though I kinda get what you are saying, I support the idea that this is interesting and clever and took a lot of work... It sounds like you are putting musicians down a little bit... I have seen some incredible stuff on youtube but you are over exaggerating slightly, most of the legend players were playing from a young age... it takes a hell of a lot of work to master an instrument, much more than a few months...

  • @MuffinWithAnAxe that's not at all what i'm trying to say. listen to this, kids can "master" the guitar alla doing sweep picking and shredding all crazy, but unlike the REAL masters who have been doing it for 5-10+ years, they're sloppy and have no "feel" to them. same with how he is saying people "master" synth/dubstep that fast. Skrillex is huge bc he's a master AND has the "feel" to him. i'm a musician too remember, i'm not putting either down!! :)

  • @througharteries I thought as much, I totally agree, just making sure :) Its hard to tell over the internet :')

  • KoRn has really sold out. After Untitled, they sucked. KoRn III was a TERRIBLE album, and now this was the worst song from them I've heard in some time.

  • Good to see Korn helping other artists out. Hell, this is the first song I've ever heard featuring Skrillex that's actually listenable!

  • @MDCVFIF lol korn helping skrillex? i laughed my ass off. korn had been washed up old ass men til skrillex revived them.

  • Кояn

  • This isn't a KoRn album... This sounds like a JD side project.

As a KoRn fan the past 16 years it pains me to say KoRn officially sucks.

  • @leaderOFlosers You aren't a true korn fan then,if you can't appreciate the fact their style is constantly changing and evolving.Personally,i think the new Korn is better than the old. They practically creating a whole new fucking genre, and you say they suck now?!Loyal fan you are, bro.

  • @PrincessCiara2671

Im not a "true" KoRn fan? I bought th and "life is peachy" when it came out, i was like 11/12 years old. I would listen to them back to back for hours every day. I've seen them live 15 times, i even drove from Toronto to Florida just to see them... So don't give me crap about not being a "true" fan.

  • @PrincessCiara2671

Im all for change, but this album has absolutely ZERO KoRn elements. They completely abandoned everything that made KoRn such a great band.

There's no groovy riffs, no slappin' bass and certainly no iconic JD vocals.

This album has too much electronic garbage and not enough KoRn.

KoRn is the softest band i listen to, so when i hear electronic dubstep garbage of course im not gonna like it.

  • @leaderOFlosers u call this garbage?

i gotta admit it though liked the OLD KoRn

this NEW KoRn is however much better

didnt like dubstep b4 i heard this

you have clearly proved that your not a big fan of change

  • @ilovelcdc

I hate dubstep and all electronical bullshit, its not music just random computerized noise.

I like change, when "follow the leader" came out it was a HUGE change from ST and "life is peachy" but it still had that KoRn vibe.

This however abandoned everything that KoRn used to be. There are no recognizable KoRn elements in this album.

  • well i have no idea where i stand with this album

  • I don't see what peoples problem is with this kind of music. I generally don't listen to dubstep and such, preferring rock, metal and the like, but this, I've not listened to too much Kirn, but enough to know it's different. And that's all. Different, not better or worse. It's a new sound, and pretty damn innovative in my opinion. If your wanting old Korn, listen to that then, but this is something new and shiny and I think it rocks.

  • People stop complaining! KoЯn is going with its time and theyre doing it good! Skrillex knows how to keep a good metal song in tact!

  • This is awesome and all you wannabes who say dubstep is shit you are all wrong it's amazing but better with Korn. Korn you legends for pairing up with Skrillex

  • @meglawhite Yeah, Korn's latest music previous to this album wasn't sounding good at all. Although I love the way they originally sounded in their old albums, I think they made a good decision mixing electronic with their music. Without it, their music was starting to fail.

  • Well this is shit.

  • it LITERALLY sounds like some dude is raping a DJ and korn is only sitting and watching while they are writing a song about how it feels. i personally like korn but i honestly think that this(not only skrillex, but dubstep and all other crap like that) is just a bunch of dudes having musical seizures.

  • 1:03 "Crapped inside a dream"

    Can't unhear it;)

  • Comment removed

  • funny how they pick every skrillex song to be their single lol gotta have that popular name attached to every single

  • Good music.

  • The driving feel of this osn gis soo brilliant !

  • I don't care for dubstep. But I love Korn. They're just switchin shit up. Can't have the same stuff every album can we?

  • @Kadaj4538 No we can't but why would they go this way? It seems like the newer generation likes alot of dubstep trance and other techno. This album tells me they didnt make it for there die hard korn fans, they made it for the kids aka for the money and popularity. Smart if u wanna make money, but on the other hand i believe they lost alot of older korn fans that were there with them scince the beginning.

  • @YourEarthOnDrugs It goes the past that it's "dubstep" or whatever...I just want korn to be korn not add 10 other musicians to the table, i dont care if korn give us the shittiest record in the world I just wanna know that THEY are the ones who created the music! so yeah...This is the first "collaboration" album korn has done though i will take K3 Over this anyday! I will ALWAYS be a korn fan though just some albums dont appeal to me, so I will just listen to what I like : )

  • @YourEarthOnDrugs But yeah I had LIP on cassette back in the day and I bought follow the leader the day it came out been a fan ever since and It does hurt to see your favorite band going in a new direction, but when korn lost head lets face it alot of that natural talent they had fell apart, cause like jon says on who then now KORN is all 5 of us! everyone brings in flavor, they're just losing there flavor in the creative side of things!

  • The emperor is not amused

  • The only reason I even listen to this new age bullshit is out of respect for korn!

  • I WANT OLD SCHOOL KORN BACK!!!! (FS!)

  • Dj's are so cool. Haha I play guitar and love music theory and everything but damn I just wanna drop the best and watch people dance.

  • I admit I'm not huge on dubstep, or most other electronic music for that matter. But I think this album just may be some of the greatest work Korn has ever put out.

  • @zeekyboogydoog826 You are fucking retarded and a shitty ass korn fan! Fuck you for even saying that!

  • @YourEarthOnDrugs Should've seen SOMETHING like this coming. The one downside to having an opinion is the volatility of some of the people with the opposite opinion.

But I'm as entitled to mine as you are to yours. And I'm not going to bother arguing with you because the whole point of opinion is that it's subjective and neither party can be genuinely right.

That's my two cents on the matter, and I'm dropping it there whether you do or not.

  • @zeekyboogydoog826 you sure are :D I'm just a die hard koRn fan!

  • @TaylorRocksOutLoud I have alot of rage to hand out to this world for what it has become, but in this particular thread no not really. Ok maybe slightly aggravated by some comments I've viewed

  • Fucking awesome sounds. I feel like I've been waiting for this kind of intensity my while life. At least now I can rip off my pants and jump around to something.

  • This was a "Hit or Miss" album, in fact it alienated many fans who only like the first few albums! to say it was for the money is fucking bullshit!

  • i think it's tokio hotel.

  • Don't you haters understand? Dubstep's becoming UBER popular these days...and we all know that unfortunately nu-metal is at the bottom of the food chain of music. Dubstep will help carry nu-metal to the top...then all us metal fans can just ditch dubstep.

  • all these songs would sound much better with actual instruments.

  • @Maggotsolider777 Loser...

  • @ChristoflamesX Whoa watch out everyone, we're dealing with a bad ass over here.

Why don't you try saying something that's actually offensive before wasting page space

    dip shit.

  • @Maggotsolider777 Newsflash, those are actual instruments. A sound board and producing program is still an instrument.

  • @DreadSilence You just said it yourself. PROGRAMS. Not instruments. Instruments take years to master. The shit you're talking about probably only takes a couple months, if not weeks.

I like the new album don't get me wrong, but they abuse the techno crap. They should of switched it up like the last tune "bleeding out".

That's the only song that appealed to me. The rest sounded exactly the same.

  • @Maggotsolider777 i've seen people master guitar in like a year or less, no one masters a program and can make it work the way Skrillex does in a couple months, CERTAINLY not a week. i respect your opinion, but its all still music. i hadn't heard this till now, and i like it. its evolutionary. dubstep, rock, nu metal, techno, all in one. its pretty rad, and i'm jumping on board with it!

  • @througharteries you can't "master" guitar at all, let alone in a year. just like you can't "master" midi. you have no idea what kind of dedication playing an instrument takes. take it from someone who both plays guitar and programs music, programming midi takes FAR less dedication.

  • @througharteries A year? you gotta be kidding me bro. You clearly have no knowledge about the guitar if you think you can master it in a year.

I've been playing since I was 5, and i'm still not that good. (18 years old now), that's 12 years buddy. 12 years of hard, dedication and pain.

If you seriously think you can master it in one year alone, then you either have never tried learning, or you're just plain stupid.

  • @througharteries continued,

there is nothing evolutionary about this monstrosity called dubstep. It's just a bunch of stupid fucking computer sounds dubbed over a drum machine.

There is no talent in making that shit, and i'm tired of seeing it plague REAL music.

If it does take any talent, it's not much. You said it yourself, a couple months.

It takes years to start a band and master your instruments.

SO you tell me what's harder, a couple months, or at least 10 years?

  • @througharteries Yea jumping on board of the gay waggon!

  • @througharteries I'm a dubstep artist too,I'm happy for Skrillex for winning 3 Grammys. People this days won' appreciate it because they think it's not music.

  • @Maggotsolider777 You are so retarded.. don't talk about something you know absolutely nothing about. if you don't like this music, instead of bashing the people that do. get off this page and go to something you like. all you are doing is pissing people off for all the wrong reasons. get a life and grow up!

  • Comment removed

  • @Maggotsolider777 dude, i'm a musician myself and i know for a fact it takes talent to create dubstep and techno music. so what you use a program for it, i had a studio program and thought naive like you, thought it would be easy! wrong, it takes a lot of time, a lot of practice and a lot of patience. if you continue not to believe me, download FL studios and see for yourself. get your facts straight pal! DJ's have it equally as bad as guitarists, bassists, and drummers and work jus as hard!

  • @Maggotsolider777 I'm sorry it takes talent to make any kind of music. It's not all in the programs.

  • @Maggotsolider777 download FL Studios and try to make a beat, you will find out that it is in fact very difficult to do. production is the most important thing about music and get a life you lame ignorant fool.. troll somewhere else man

  • Everybody can have their own opinion and i will respect it, but i honestly was a die hard korn fan, until i heard this, changing a sound is one thing, but this is the ultimate form of selling out, i will be donating all of my korn cloths (206 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, and 30 hats) to good will. I will be lost for a while, because korn was pretty much my life's soundtrack until now, they were my only hope for the music of this generation.

  • @killz4thrillz87 how about waiting till the next album, this might have just been for this album. You should know KoЯn is a band that likes to experiment with new sounds.

  • @SargeAU1

It's not that their not metal,It's just that when their with Skrillex I's a mix of rap and metal.

  • the higher synth in the background at 2:42 is a fucking masterpiece

  • Skrillex should just become a permanent member of Korn because I actually like Korn again!

  • @RainlessMedal This. KoRn has been shit for the last few years, but this is good. Even though KoRn isn't exactly metal, I want to hear Skrillex x Metal songs, revolutionary music right there.

  • this fusion of metal and dubstep is not a new thing, excision's been doing various remixes of metal songs for a long time now. And alot of experimental metal bands have veered towards electronic basslines.

  • awesomeness!!!

  • They did something really cool with this album !

  • At first it felt like a Korn song that got remixed, which I wasn't keen on. But I love how the two genres fuse at 2:33. I'd love to see what the dubsteppers do when they hear this. Is this Korn's secret plan to convert them to headbangers?

  • @BooGiEMaN696 Well, a lot of guys who listened to metal/hard rock like Skrillex already because of his really dark songs. I mean come on, "Kill Everybody" is honestly the name of 500 metal songs. And the same idea probably works both ways.

  • The best part is, not only is this music. This is a couple guys having fun experimenting with some crazy ideas. Sonny himself has listened to KoRn long before dubstep was invented. Jonathan found skrillex in his early days and said that this was a whole new level on it's own. After they met for "get up", it was so much fun for all of them, they made a whole album with plenty of AMAZING artists. so its not for the money, or the music. they're having a great time with it, too. real music live on!!

  • @mcyale2 wow that is maybe one of the best comments i have ever read and the best part is that its true too many bands and solo artists are in it for the money, the fame or the looks (lady gaga).

the main point is to have fun

  • I love Korn and Skrillex!! This song makes me jizz everytime I hear it! :D

  • dubstep is such a fad, theyre gonna look back at this album in shame 5 years from now. there are a couple catchy tunes on here though not knockin it totally

  • I really like this new style, leave it to KoRn to make a new style... actually not sure if they started this but hey they did for me

  • WHY?!

  • @sepsism138 because they wanted to

  • Im not a Korn Fan per say I mean i listen to them but its a like a few songs here and there. However This new Album is Flat out Sick. I love it and I never had a favorite song by Korn but this song hands down My Favorite. The fact its with skrillex is awesome. To be honest I love this side of Korn. It might becuasde I am a huge techno fan idk. But yeah all around Badass album

  • @MalachiRevenge yeah it seems like korn is one of the few metal bands that would mix with skrillex well cause korn aren't just a metal band, there not just black and gray like a lot of metal bands, and therefore its easier for them to go beyond the boundaries of what a traditional metal band could, respect to them for that!

  • Everyone who says KoRn "sucks" now is just caught up in the past and not looking towards the future. EVERY band makes changes and tries something different. It's normal. To all those people, stop being TROLLS and just accept a band for who they are and who THEY want to become. Dubstep fits right in with KoRn's style.

  • @bstndaharlot korn never sticks with one style, so the next album is gonna be way different just like this album was way different than remember who you are!

  • @bstndaharlot this album was far from a fail though, all the korn fans regardless if they like this style or not are still happy that korn are putting themselves on the map in a respectful way! might not be one of my top favorite korn albums but is surely is a step in the right direction for the band, and JD is reborn as a singer!

  • if people would stop trying to label everything to try and fit with their perspective and just listen they would realize it is a GOOD song no matter what genre it is

  • @DethmetalUSA no true fan has to like every song, but instead they should respect them all.

  • This is by far the best song off the new album

  • Skrillex + Korn = Best match up we've had in a LONG ASS TIME <3 i straight LOVE IT! MAKE MOREEEEE!!!!! {:

  • @RashellGarza3 what about Gotye and Kimbra?

  • wow this is shit..

  • Honestly, a true fan is someone who doesnt mindlessly eat up everything their favorite band does. true fan instead, can sit and say "you know what, I dont like this."

You dont have to enjoy EVERYTHING your favorite band does. Its ok to be

    .

  • hate dubstep but dubstep mixed with korn is pretty awesome

  • the chorus sounds a bit like 'no-one's there' off 'untouchables'

  • i just like dubstep lol

  • I love the album like crazy it's just this song I can't get into no matter how many times I listen to it ):

  • FUCKIN WAT?

  • Thank you Korn For another Great Piece of Music!!!

  • I freaken love Metal Dubstep, it just mixes so well.

  • Is it odd that I learned about this album in a movie theater

  • Ive always thought korn had a sence or realism in everything they compose this new style will be something (when leaked) alot of people will enjoy we can thank korn for showing people the new way to create music.

  • I'M IN LOVE WITH THE CHORUS!

  • First time listener here, long time korn fan. Very powerful and can feel everystep of the way, I only wish Jonathan would stop singing about raping as we are not the same fuckt up kids anymore. Dupstep is supposed to deliver a feeling of powerful emotion, that of happiness & enjoyment. The lyrics fail them here....

  • @MrDruidsCircle Perfectly stated.

  • my god this is fucking everything . love it and we all do . thereà nothing to wrong to say about this band it is the end...

  • zero Korna w Kornie ;/

  • I Love this album !

  • This is fucking horrible.

  • anyone notice how the chorus to this song sounds just like the pre-chorus to "No One's There"?

  • KornOnTheKob. taken to a new level!!

  • Meow

  • I HATE MODERN TALKING SYNTHS!

  • The mix of skrillex and korn is fucking genius.

  • Damn, I was 13 when Blind came out so maybe I am just getting old, or stuck in the 90's. I need to be on chemicals to listen to dubstep & the likes, give me a few weeks to mull this over, don't hate it but it's hard to stomach, seems like chasing a fad to me...

  • @metalaustralia I was 1 when Blind came out haha. Still a fan

  • WHO JUST BECAME A KORN FAN!?

  • @theseaofseeds this is way differnt to korns actually shit, look up "trash" and say that

  • @taylorjamesdylan haha I was just kidding- I use to listen to the old Korn. I think this stuff totally sucks lmao :D

  • Comment removed

  • A true KoRn fan likes every song, every album and every style they've done. Judging by what im seeing, there's a lot of fake fans out there who gave up on KoRn after "Get Up!" was released. And btw is there a law that says they cant try something new for a change? didnt think so.

  • @DethmetalUSA I think you are taking it "way too far" I am a korn fan but I also love Jim Carrey but just cause his latest movie was really bad doesn't mean i'm gonna give up on all his other great movies, I don't think the true fans really dislike this style though I just think it scared some of them cause it's something new I think in retrospect this album will be great, after all it has a futuristic sound!

  • @gummoboy333 um where did u get jim carry from corn from ??????

  • @UnDeAdUpLoAdEr I just meant it doesn't make you not a fan if you don't like there most recent work! though I do like the new korn cd besides a few songs.

  • @DethmetalUSA a true artist fan doesn't really have to like every song to be a true fan imo..

  • @DethmetalUSA If you really think a fan has to like everything their idol says or does, I feel sorry for you.

  • @DethmetalUSA Thats exactly what ive been wanting to tell these hater fake fans. Thank u for getting that out!!!

  • @DethmetalUSA very true

  • @DethmetalUSA I'm pretty sure everyone is entitled to their own opinion....last I checked this is a free fucking country

  • @sicknastay420 your on the internet you fucking moron... Country isnt a part of anything on here...

  • @DethmetalUSA Loving everything Korn makes just because Korn made it doesn't make you a "true fan" of Korn. It makes you a puppet on a string.

Korn freaking rocks! That is all.

  • @DethmetalUSA Their stuff with skrillex is sick.. their old stuff is great too. But i think skrillex was good for them they've gotten alot more youtube attention

  • @LiamsAnAmzingGuy I think its a revolutionary new sound in Rock! Long live Korn so folks WTF, do what your supposed to do! The same thing we have been doing all these years! Follow the fucking Leader in to the new era of Rock with Korn! Especially since its been in decline lately this could bring rock back to the forefront of music again this shits fresh and hits hard with all the rifting! If you don't like it your stuck in the past man! Lets push this shit, I'm tired of crap ass rap, are you?

  • @TheHampdenRaven Rap sucks! not only the music but its brainwashing! fucking people wanna live like rap stars! : P

  • @TheHampdenRaven you're totally right, but to be fair, not all rap is crappy. Have you ever listened to Fort Minor? good stuff.

  • @DethmetalUSA You can't follow blindly though! so I'm gonna scrap 6 or 7 albums that I LOVE cause I don't like one! what happened to being a fan and listening to the stuff you like? and respecting the rest, I respect the new Korn-Step but Im not a dubstep fan so I cant really "Harness" this sound, and Im not that big into collaboration albums KoRn will be back though!

  • @DethmetalUSA Amen

  • @DethmetalUSA A true fan of anything, likes it because they like it. Not just because it has a certain label on it. That's called being blind or following the crowd

  • @SleepyFroggy That's what I tell people all the time! No one gets that someone likes something, not because of the band that makes it, but because of whether or not they actually like what is being put into their ears.

  • @DethmetalUSA and btw, get up is awesome.
