I absolutely love your makeup videos, I go back and watch the ones on your old channel sometimes! They're so well made and straight to the point! Hope we see more soon :D
do you have any eyeliner tips for people who have close set eyes that want them to appear more wide-set? ive tried the white shadow/eyeliner trick in the corner of the eyes but it just ends up looking odd to me and not too helpful, and i know not to put the dark eyeliner close to the corners. any suggestions?
@0hpalpitations Really focus the eyeliner on the outer corners.... fade it as you go inwards so that you don't even go past the middle of the eye. Soften eyeliner with a smudge brush and some black/dark eyeshadow because then you can do a 'thicker' line without it looking too harsh...blending it out further away at the outer corner :)
What do you suggest for someone who has hooded eyelids. I've tried this a few times but it doesn't quite look the same. Would it need to be more dramatic so you could see it better? Or further out? or longer? Please help. I love the look and want to give it a shot.
@angieliddiard It's a tough one... hooded eyelids look much better with a strong line overall and not so 'cat eye' like. If you check out some of Bobbi Brown's methods of doing eyeliner (check out her videos on QVC and stuff)... thats the way it looks best!
great video, but it was very short and cut me off guard... gel liner is allot harder to use than eye liner felt tips. so if you would've mentioned a brush and type of gel liner would've been more informative. I know that with my gel liners it never works out so i always use a liquid liner. and for gel liners I've never been able to find the right brush. I've had lots of practice and still gel liners never work out as well as the liquid liners....what should i do?
@ShootingStarBeauty I mention in the information bar that it's the Bdellium Tools 760...and in the blog post that I used the Bobbi Brown Gel Liner...but others that I have used with success. It's all in the brush!
@saralopes8 It is scripted....I have to think carefully of how to describe actions so I'm not "ummm"ing and "ahhh"ing the whole time :) I want to make sure the directions are clear :)
