  • Wow. I just spent forever looking for a good drum cover for this song. I was getting bummed until i found yours. THANK YOU for posting this, you sound great.

  • ya dude all i see is straight eights on youtube and its pissing me off cuz im trying to show my dad what the notes for this song is cuz my band is doing it

  • @drummerkid62 all you play is a Quarter note on the high hat that is very very very heavily accentuated, then you play an 8th in between, but the 8th is going to be a ghost note. Hop ehtat helps

  • It can be heavily accented eighths or quarters, just whatever u do, DON'T PLAY STRAIGHT 8s

  • Why you don´t play music just like it is??

If you covering something just try to do the same, the song don´t need new invets!!!

    You play good

  • besides those 8ths that are supposed to be 4ths its good

  • yeah, ye

i thought they were 8ths too. just saw the band video live, and it is quarter notes so, yeah.

    amazing song!~

  • @C6co66 Yeah the song is definitely quarter notes, but the fact he's kind of ghosting the 8ths makes it work well and its almost non intrusive to the actual album sound.

  • How do you have all those pieces connected to the TD-6? I'm pretty sure it'll only accept 11 total trigger inputs, including the two dual input jacks.

  • dpnt remember when you came over and i played it with eighth's and u said it was off tempo

  • that's because u were doing it too fast lol

  • im pretty sure its just quarter notes on a washy hi hat

    thats why it sounds fuller

  • during the chorus or during the verse???

  • uggg every ass wipe and there mom plays song this with eighth notes instead of quarter notes stupid!!!

  • its how its played on the record haha

  • True that...I have just watched 5 drum covers of this song and they all do the eighth notes....Should be Sloshy hats at quarter notes..

    Rock on mate...

  • Thanks for the comment. that was the original hihat with my old TD 6v kit i just havent switched it out yet. I have a double bass pedal I just play heel down a lot so it looks like i'm not moving my legs.

  • Did you switch hihat with some tom? Hehe, because hihat looks like tom or snare drum:)

Good cover anyway, do you work with bass drum?? Cause I didn't see any work of your legs.

  • You Should practice your fills.
