The 'humans' are actually aliens who have become so indoctrinated on earth that they have forgotten who they are. An EM pulse from a space seed pod wakes them partially up and they start dreaming of each other and draw closer together. A final decision must be made to join with the pod and go home or stay on earth.

A SciFi made for the drama/women market, just bearable as a date movie if she wont let you see Ironman 2.
