This is an absolute work of art dude. Awesome job on the car. I hope one day I can turn my Mustang into what I'd like, which isn't anything as awesome as this, but it's nice to see average joe's achieve their automotive dreams like this. I simply want a nice single remote turbo setup with around 450rwhp and a really nice brake and suspension setup. Some day. Until then, I'll be just trying to enjoy the car as is and live a little vicariously through videos of cars like yours.
No its the same motor. I was due for a rebuild and I did not want to spend the cash to send everything back to California. I heard good things about Andy Jensen and decided to give him a call. Its the same motor just with better internals, bigger cam and stroked to 400ci. I had no issues with Nelson. He is a great guy, but just too far away.
@omargabmle2 Well I would not call it a daily driver. You could if you wanted to. I drive it to local stuff. I have thought about doing drag week with it. As far as selling it ...... I don't think anyone would give me what I want. If I sold it, I would have to get enough to build another car and we all know you don't get back what you put in them.

Yeah, I got a guy to help me with the tune and got my converter sorted out. I run max of 22lbs ramped in on a controller. Its amazing what a good tune will do. I was always afraid of hurting the motor before but now I know the tune is solid and I can be agressive with boost. I think I have seen video of your car on here. I would like to see it sometime.
@SuperTwin71 I got a few vids on here. Hope to be at PRP next week for TNT if weathers nice and my car is running ok. I need to tune it on a dyno and then hopefully plan on adding the meth injection kit later this year.
@orr89rocz I might be out this week if weather is ok. You need a good tuner to help you out. It made a big difference for me. I have a water /meth kit on my car but I don't use it. I have a custom made 1 gal stainless tank as well. If your interested I will sell you what I have. Everything is there you might just need some different nossles. I bought it from Alcohol injection systems. I am thinking of switching to water/air.
WTH!! The starter had you sitting on the brake forever. If it had an auto and not the Lenco I would have been pissed. Good hit though. Anything left in it or is this pretty much tapped out?
@willsz06 The car is an auto now Turbo 400. I was up on the trans brake in the video. Still no excuse for the sleepy light. I was out last weekend and it went 8.58 @ 159. Not sure how much is left in it. It is only certified to 8.50. I'm not going to push it much more.
@SuperTwin71 Awesome. I've seen you run at PRP before a few years back. It was in the mid high 9's then. You've come a long way :) How much boost on that pass?I have the black 89 camaro twin turbo that occassionally gets up to race. Not as fast as this one tho
