  • nice vid.. i'd like to see them compare the 370Z to the 1M now

  • gtr will eat m3

  • The Z is garbage. The engine is harsh, it easily overheats, and the brakes fades. Pure Garbage.

  • @Rastamut Easily overheats?? Funny how the Z overheats almost always because of poor owner maintenance. The early 335i for example, came with overheating problems and noticeable turbo lag right OUT OF THE FACTORY. Don't try comparing BMW problems with Nissan problems because you'll fall on your ass very quickly.

  • WTF stupid americans talking about,no one american car have balance of one BMW,so shut up with that, time of one lap dont tell everitink about car, german enginering is best in the world that is it...

  • @bobanppvc where do you think germany got the money and the engineers to build shit after world war II? America. Its called the Marshall Plan asshole, look it up. Your lucky we helped those bastards out so their country wouldn't turn to communism after the war. So...Your welcome for your "High Class German Engineering Excellence"

  • @tbirdsport302 you americans are idiots, that whole world knows, shut up and suck dick pussy, you dont know anythink germans and japs are the best, american engineering sucks, look your country almost bankrot, but that is nothing what will be,fuckin bastards killing for diesel innocent people

  • @bobanppvc we aren't killing for diesel yet trust me, now...a bunch of tree hugging "MPG" fucks are but thats a different story, there is a reason for this right now, Gas or "Petrol" as you foreigners say is cheaper in America than diesel is plain and simple, and the fact that there really aren't too many diesel options yet for us either. And ok my country is massive debt but diesel engineering from japan and germany isn't going to do shit about it, sorry.

  • @bobanppvc Learn to spell, and please shut the fuck up.

  • @RawTranquility you have balls here pussy, shame shame shame, your mom love my sperm hehe, say hello my litle friend

  • nissan has 370 bhp....the BMW has 306...if the nissan gets A+ the BMW should get A++

  • @juancho939 Where the hell did you get 370 bhp? You numbers are way off.

  • @juancho939 370Z stands for 3.7Liter, as 350Z had 3.5L. Oh, the old 240Z had 2.4L. The 370Z actually makes 332bhp.

  • Can someone educated on both vehicles assist me? I'm researching both of these vehicles for a potential buy. It appears the 370Z comes with a much sharper interior, including GPS. The BMW's interior looks like something circa 1985.... but it has a useable back seat. Is this correct?

  • I raced a G35 tonight multiple times -- and my N55 135i was much quicker.

  • @33486sac You won against a car that weighs more than yours, has less power, is much older, probably with the slow 5 speed auto. Go ahead against a brand new G37s with the 7 speed, you'll probably run home crying.

  • @carfanPhil I actually meant to say G37. I need to get these races on film. I also smoked a hatchback WRX STI on the freeway the other day. The only car that truly gave me a run for my money on the freeway was the Acura TL Type-S. Don't ask me why.

  • @carfanPhil

I heard the 7 speeds were giving troubles, because the majority of G37's for sale I see are 5 speed autos or 6 speed MT

  • ... the 135 also has bridgestrone RE050A's you moron

but yeah, basically swap out the run flats (runcraps) on the 1 series and you get WAY WAY more grip.

  • lol if they T/T the Z if would be no contest at all

  • But at he end of the day ur in a NISSAN... and you just feel sad... lol.. seen so many nissan's breakdown and even to see the body of the car go rusty after like 1 year! ... BMW Power! Own a 330i e90 and loving it :)

  • @sale666 of course your gunna talk shit when bmw twin turbo i6 puts down less power than a n.a v6, my 1990 nissan 300zx puts down 300 horsepower from a v6, its reliable as fuck and doesnt have a spec of rust... whats that say? and fords 5.0 takes out the v8 m3? FORD IS BEATING YOU!! that make you feel sad? and rusty after 1 year??? no..no way he must have sanded and not primed the car and drove through the ocean

  • @TheZeedrifter

you must be an american pice of shit! Yes rusty all the way its just junk! American mind = more power just to go "faster" woo hoo! lol... what bmw made is a machine that has handling, less consumption and what you americans dont get its called HANDLING! you know when you get in the corner with that truck engine in cars that drinks 40 litters of gas every 100km? yes that! So shut up i wonder why bmw won 6 years in a row ENGINE OF THE YEAR AWARD? must be cause nissan and ford lol.

  • @sale666 wtf? im a jap fan, i dnt care about american. nissan spanks bmws handling. who declared the bmw engine of the year? let me guess a euro company, as if thats not bias. this video should prove nissan is 16 thousand cheaper and make more power NATURALLY ASPIRATED, AND MADE THE SAME AMOUNT OF POWER AS YOUR TT 3.0 22 YEARS AGO WITH THE SAME DISPLACEMENT. And corvettes are 20 thousand cheaper than m3 but spank them IN THE CORNERS! bmw is a overpriced car, for sure. i had a 325i 2008

  • @TheZeedrifter

ok here... i see toyota a few times but nissan?

    v v v.ukipme.com/engineoftheyear/previous04.html

    (change to v 3 w)

  • @TheZeedrifter

o yeh check the "judges" tab see they are all over the world...

  • @sale666 it said document was moved, i found:Engine Expo 2012

Engine Design, Components, Manufacturing, Test and Development

12, 13, 14 June 2012 Messe Stuttgart, Germany....and that website is european, exactly what i said. a euro company will claim thier's is the best just as japs will claim their's is the best..

  • @sale666 what other n/a v6 puts down as much power and holds grip for.99 lat g's for the same price?

  • @sale666 what part of HANDLING don't you understand you stupid fuck. the Z gets a .97 while the bmw gets a pathetic .90. braking is 101 vs 109ft

handling is what euro faggots say about slow and overpriced shit cars. american and japanese spank BMW everytime. can BMW beat GTR or ZR1? LOL!

  • @thedenimvault

Yes it can M3 GTS can... real life driving vs set up driving specs are totaly different i bet you never even set in any of those.. anyway your opinion vs mine just keep it to yourself american boy.

  • @thedenimvault

Why are you talking TUNED vs STOCK idiota?

  • @Thtblkbrit where did I say anything about that you jackass? and fyi the g37s are ALL 7 spd and 6 spd manual. only the 08s have shitty 5 spd. 7 speed is more reliable then 5 spd. noob.

  • @thedenimvault

You nissan boys need to pull your head out your ass, and stop getting so butthurt. I was trying to inquiring info from what I've seen on the INFINITI forums. I guess mommy didn't give ya any breast milk. You said GTS is still SLOW, then said a TUNED GTR or CORVETTE will beat it. Short term memory loss?

  • @Thtblkbrit hahahahah you dumb fuck. the GTS is a TUNED m3 that costs $120k. not a stock one that costs $60k moron. next time get a clue before addressing me.

  • @thedenimvault second of all a tune is cheap and takes the potential out of any car. it's not being modded with twin fartcans and turbos like the spivic you drive, spick.

  • @sale666 BMW doesn't have any power. shitty reliability too. breaks down after 3 days of track use.

  • The winner is different in different countries. In Portugal, the 135i Coupe is €59.000 (aka $78.800), the 370Z is €78.000 (aka $104.200). So, the 135i wins big time.

  • @RicardoSS85 ?????? $104k for a Z? thats GT-R money man! you guys are getting ripped the fuck off

  • @moham7ad The GT-R is €125.000 ($167.000). Seriously, we pay absurd amounts of taxes...

  • @RicardoSS85 i thought we had it bad here in canada because we have to pay a few more thousands than the americans do

  • i chose the 370z over the 335i coupe i jus love the 370z its so dam sexyy and fasttttt plus bitch i dont got a back seat no more free rides =D

  • @sacromeo916 ahahahah high five ! ...same idea man ! ahhaha

  • @zeroanh lol yup u got a z to ??

  • @sacromeo916 hehe the Z is a great way to 'avoid' passengers ;-)

  • If we're going by price, it's not fair to compare either 1 series to the Z. The Nissan starts at $30k, the 135i goes 10 grand more, and the M coupe is 16 thousand more. The BMW's are lighter, but when you go with the M coupe's 335 hp at the wheels, even with the M3's suspension, and won't corner like the Z because of the shorter wheelbase. Again, I will take one of each thanks.

  • I like both cars (although if I'm getting the BMW, I'll want the M coupe version), but I have a son who will be six when my Maxima is paid for, so the BMW wins for having a back seat. Otherwise, I LOVE ME SOME Z.

  • @jediwise Well said! haha ;D

  • conclusion .. buy a bmw 1m !!

  • for the looks i like the Z, for the ride the BMW. I drove the Z, the main reason i didn't like it is because of the lack of visibility. The ride is not as harsh as they say it is. The brakes where VERY good, however a bit sensitive. The z is great, but i liked how the BMW felt, more refined, you have the feeling like they know what you want it to feel like.

  • 135 is faster than a 370Z in magazines and in real world testing, and a waaay cheaper car to mod. A $500 tune will get the 135 over 340hp @ the wheels

  • @damwhodat3 I wouldn't trust a $500 mod. A cheap aftermarket can ruin your car, especially when you're doing this to a BMW.

  • @350zmt06 lol i so agree with you. if you can drop the money on a bmw, you need to put more than $500 in your car. bottom line.

  • The tie breaker is the 370 doesnt overheat because of a plastic electronic water pump LOL

  • they are different categories

  • yeah your're going to compared a 1 series m coupe to a stock 370z try a nismo. by the way I'm not talking about the video, but some of the BMW fan boys in the comments

  • The 135i looks like a chick car, no thanks. 370z is a facking beautifully engineered beast!

  • Try to do that with 1 series M Coupe !

  • Nissan = more car for the money, more reliable... no turbos. No HPFP failure.

    Nissan #1

  • I test drove both cars when I was shopping for a new car and the BMW is without question the better car. If you are a grown man i.e. over the age of 25 then the BMW is where you need to go. It just so much more refined. The Nissan felt hyper cramped and the ride got old quick. The BMW might not have the sex appeal but other than that its soooo much more comfortable to drive and is a beast on the road. The only thing about the BMW is the price, its pretty high for a little car.

  • what bout the 1m!!!?

  • @edawg305 didn't exist 3 years ago

  • The question is would you rather go from 0-60 in a BMW or a Nissan. German over engineering or Japanese reliability. I personally would prefer to drive a BMW, the interior alone is worth the higher price. To not be compared to punks with rice burners is also a special feature of the 135i.

  • @Kev50027 370z owners are punks with rice burners? Niggers drive mid to low range BMW's and the 135i is no exception, lmfao.

  • @iJustDontGiveAShit You're an idiot. I love the 370z but you just made the Z community look bad with this ignorant comment.

  • @BlueAvenue22 I don't represent the Z community, I just drive one. You're a faggot for thinking that driving the same car as someone else automatically makes you friends, it's just a car.

  • the drivers suck

  • I have that exact Z... Drifting machine!

  • they need to compare the 1M now that its released. that thing is fuckin awesome!!

  • BMWweak as fuck for a turbo 6

  • Twin turbo six making only 300bhp? DA FUCK?

  • @boobtube433

BMW rates it at 300 HP for marketing purposes, but it's actually 330 or more from factory settings.

  • Like many say your going be fixing the bmw before the nissan alot of people could confirm that. But this is Classes as in your sport tunny driver and bmw as the classy speedy car. They both are great as you get older the less you look for noise and more smoothness....both cars are great!

  • most people buy cars (like BMW's) for the name and nissan is a lot better at designing and nissan makes a lot of respectable tuners like this 370z or the 350z.

  • If you want a more reliable option between the two go with the Nissan. Drive the BMW for 3 years plus, and you are guaranteed to have some expensive mechanical and electrical problems out of warranty.

  • @OneOfaKind949 Agreed, I’ve owned several Bimmers over the last ten years and can witness that BMW still hasn’t mastered the electronics in their cars. The performance is awesome and will give you the best fun to drive feel but the maintenance is killer. I’ve also owned Nissan's and can witness that they are more reliable and can also perform. I’m looking at trading my 550i in for an Infiniti M56.

  • The 135i is classic and conservative, but the 370z is down right sexy!! Both have there ups and downs in my opinion!

  • I am switching over from Nissan to BMW, been driving Nissan for 9 years. They are great if all you want is performance. But I am switching over to BMW because I have grown to appreciate the more refined driving quality. Car stops more smoothly, ride is more quiet, steering feels more solid, all things I couldn't care less about years ago.

  • @Doma111222333 BMW is in my blood. I like Nissan. Try something new. You'll learn from it.

  • @Doma111222333 lol fail the Z you feel the road you cant tell whats going down the bmw is an over priced car thats quiet. you down graded

  • @xstr33tr4cerx you have obviously never driven a BMW have you? either that or your just too stubborn lol

  • @SpartanDara117 or i noticed how shitty and wired up all modern cars are. only advantage the bmw has over the Z is room for groceries the 1 series is a girl car id like one if it wasnt so punny. and i bet the bmw is throttle by wire. aka fail car

  • @Doma111222333 means ur gettin old

  • @Doma111222333 good add

  • @Doma111222333 i'm 21 and got myself a 130i (australia, so it's 270hp stock). could have had a 350z. but 5 seats and it's also faster stock for stock? yes please.

  • @Doma111222333 so you're trading your altima for a beat up 325? nobody cares.

  • 370 SLAM THE BMW

  • too many things are identical for ANYONE to say that one is better than the other.

  • 370z looks amazing...135 is nice but it's not anywhere as sexy...plus rear-wheel drive...nuff said

  • @BennyBlanc0FTB 370Z is a rear wheel drive, too.

  • bmw = brings me women, i am sure if any of us had enough money to buy one of these car it would be bmw

  • @vatan1923 you rely on a car to bring you women? I rely on my rugged good looks.

  • @mushaddiv have u ever asked urself why people pays so much money to buy bmw? If u havent ask yet I sugest u to do it now, because people arent stupid

  • @vatan1923 I'd hope ppl buy BMW because they like the status symbol and the driving experience that BMWs provide....not in hopes that it will make someone like them. That is just sad.

  • @mushaddiv what made ppl like the bmw symbol and driving experience not the nissan? I say history off the car and the quality made this car top on the line

  • I PAYED 30,000 FOR MY NISSAN WITH A 5,000 DOWN , NOW IM PAYING 450 Monthly. =)

  • @SOUTHPARKMEX713 i payed 15,000 for my 370 with 0 down 250 a month, its good knowing people with dealer licences :D

  • @FaDoRR Lucky ..

  • So basically the BMW 135 gets an A but the Nissan gets a A+, but in the end I'm too poor to buy any of these car to judge them for myself.

  • @brbn93 Don't worry bro, most of us are too hahaha thats why we watch all these vids. Gotta love em

  • Why to americans say nissan 'NEESAN'

  • @howardflight09 "Neesan" can mean sister(in a respectful way) the way u put it haha.

  • this comparison is complete shit, they're talking about a better sportscar when the bmw is faster, and in my opinion much more fun to drive, the shifting is much smoother and quicker than the nissans. And how are they going to compare the interiors when the nissan has cloth? bmw would never put any of that bs cloth in any of their cars. The nissan only has 2 seats and no trunk unlike the bmw. This comparison is just bs. you cant compare a bmw to a nissan...ever.

  • @broboter56 dude you are 4getting one simple lil detail...ITS A SPORTS CAR!! what do u expect. me or as any other sports car enthusiast could care less of all the fancy trimings. the 370z looks more sporty as is as it should be 2 seater ofcourse a true sports car is a 2 seater lambos, ferraris ect. what do u expect.you want a sports car with seats stick with your porsches mc learen f1s and shit, but dont hate on these comparinsons and stop being a cry baby they are just cars..GREAT CARS AT THAT.

  • stil fighting guyz?? i think it is clear the z is better in this video and in many others to!

it wins almsot evry time. you get MORE for your money! so why are there stil people saying bmw is better.

yes it is a great car but it is more expensive because it is a BMW (a german car) compared to a asian car wich are mostly cheaper.

so the z is better in this fight!

  • Still prefer the BMW...

  • man you are stuiped you can hook up bmw to beat nisson noob

  • @SABINUZZI stuiped? lol

  • I can guarantee you even if you did convert to e85 you wouldn't make anywhere near my power level as your stock turbo can't flow that much air. I'm willing to bet that all those Evos you supposedly beat aren't even tuned considering they weigh a few hundred pounds less than a ms6 and can easily surpass 350awhp depending on the dyno.

  • No I didn't know and quite frankly I don't care since autos are so boring to drive anyways. And yes, that is still slow to me. Once they start trapping 115mph+, then come talk to me.

And I agree, the only fast Mitsubishis are the turbod ones hence why I used to own a 414whp Evo9.

    Thank you come again.

  • What the hell is a stage 2 135i? MS6's are cute though considering they are pigs and can't stack up against an Evo or STi. It was fun destroying them in my E85 powered Evo9 lol.

The only fast Nissans are the ones that are turbod. 12.2@110mph is still a dog.

I have not taken my car to the track yet because I'm not done yet. I'm waiting for my FMIC and meth kit to arrive.

  • @Boostjunkie954 Smh so did you know that the automatic Z is faster? The auto Z does 0-60 in 4.6sec and 1/4 13.1@108mph is that slow for a automatic ? The only fast mitsubishi's are the the turbod ones.

  • @TheNissanbest An automatic sports car could even do 11's in the 1/4 mile, I still wouldn't be interested. To buy a fast sports car in auto trim is a waste, If you have the physical ability to drive a manual transmission.

  • @ImportDreams500 actually if you turbo it , it will be faster than a manual turbo.. But I would want the faster trim. An auto is'nt a waste at all. They are putting autos in supercars so it isn't a waste. Look at the GT-R it has an automatic.. People are still buying it isn't it?

  • @Boostjunkie954 Yea MS6s are pigs depending on options and GT or sport your looking at most at around 3600lbs but some weigh around 3400 or so still heavy.. 12.2 at 110 in an NA v6 is not slow but its super fast either.. Not for a street car anyway... Im sure if I ran e85 and meth in my car I could race yours :). But why would I do that. Its my Daily And I put down 347-348awd at the wheels. Thats fine enough for me. And I have beat plenty of Evos :) around my power level

  • After having raced both in my MS6 the 370z is far superior.. They are both awesome cars but with the same driver a 370z will always win if they are both stock.

There are 370zs running 12s stock the fastest one yet is a 12.2 at 110 with just an ecu upgrade.. Theres a 7at one bone stock that ran a high 12.

I would rather have a 370z far more support in the aftermarket and you can make it faster right now. the 135 however is still bad azz

  • All that for just about 295whp? I'm sorry, but I just spent about $750 total (tune and downpipes) on my 135i and I'm making 367whp with stock catback still.

  • @Boostjunkie954 I already beat the stage 2 135I with my Mazdaspeed 6 and I make a little more wheel power than you.. And I can tell you the 370z is a heavy competitor whats your best quater mile time.

i suck at driving and my best time is 12.48 in my ms6

  • once you put the difference of price into the Z it will walk all over the 135i in a straight line. Just with headers,Y-pipe, HFC, catback, and dual intakes it would be like 295rwhp if not more

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr There are 370zs dynoing over 300 at the wheel stock.. I saw one put down about 304 I think it was..

  • @KrGsMrNKusinagi0 not possible. Its only 330crank hp stock. You loosing only 30hp thru the drivetrain. Not very likly.

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr Its entirely possible.. Also depends on the dyno.. SRT-4s constantly dynoed at or above there rated Flywheel power. My 1995 Acura GSR rated 170hp at the flywheel dynoed 155.4 at the wheels Bone STOCK.. I have seen a 370z dyno over 300 at the wheels stock. But I have also seen them dyno as low as around 260 or so.. just because it says 330 at the flywheel does not mean every single car is gonna dyno the same. There are factory freak cars

  • the bmw is ugly. im sick of insideline loving on all beamers!! i know tons of people who have owned them and traded them in for a merc!! and the 135 has an ugly interior/exterior!!! NISSAN FTW!!

  • @Karpinski29 your comment made me laugh, you mentioned that the bmw had ugly interior(which it doesnt) then said nissan ftw. the nissan's interior is like a young boys room. It's looks tacky and cheap on the interior. BMW is clean, neat, and classy. Then again. people don't buy Nissan for their "class". Personally, i think the bmw is beautiful, neat and conservative, something that most modern japanse cars arent, z looks a lil futuristic and wacky, nice, but wacky.

  • don't forget the 370z 30+ hp from the 135i

  • @LBB988 and and bmw is 200 pounds lighter

  • I'll take the 135i So sexy, better on gas, plus it's German made... so much better quality.

  • @robbie1490 word! :D

  • @ScorpionCore :D!!

  • 5 grand thats the BIG MONEY WASTED ! LOL nissan shift the future.

  • @TheEuroperules which car will last longer though? and hold more value?

  • @phv628 The BMW will hold its value till the bitter end, 5k more seems steep, but in the long run you will make up the 5 grand when it comes time for resale and anybody who owns one will know what its worth.

  • The 135i had a twin turbo from 2008-2010. The 2011 N55 engine is a single twin scroll turbo.

Just slap JB4 or PROcede v5 on this car and it will make 60whp/80tq with no other modifications. Try doing that with a 3.7L N/A engine from Nissan.

  • The 135 does not have a twin turbo. It has a single twin scroll turbo.

  • @zalbes 2008~2010 models had twin turbo. Then for 2011, BMW switched to a single turbo.

  • 1 series m owns all...its just as fast if not faster than the M3.

  • I would take the M-DCT 135i with the M package

  • i love bmw, but id take a 370 over a 135i any day

  • As the warranties indicate, the real difference (aside from the 135 having almost identical rear seat space to a 3-series) is that the BMW represents the bottom end of a durable performance line, while the Nissan pushes the high end of a Japanese economy line. I've owned several samples of both and they are great cars new, but Japanese motors give out while the BMWs get stronger.

  • Good reviews. Only thing is the Z's premium audio and heated seats are only available in the Touring model which stickers around $36,000. The standard Z which is about $31,000 doesn't offer them as standalone options. Also the sport package is a must have on a Z. The sport package Z costs $34,000. And like me if you want both the sport package and touring upgrades that will cost you $39,000 putting it at about the same price as the 135i. IMO it comes down to styling and seating to pick a winner.

  • So much butthurt eurofags

  • Oops. Didn't know there was a comment limit Here's the rest: yet handles like a car with teeth shattering suspension. Also the Z's interior... Wow seriously? I'm 26 not 16. No doubt the TCO will be less for the Z. In the end some people like the Z and some prefer BMW. That's what makes the sport fun.

  • @lebes14 I couldn't agree more with your previous comments. Did bridge stone pay for this review? ;) Anyways, I was a huge Nissan/Infiniti fan and never considered BMW as an option...that was until I drove one. After driving the BMW I didn't need to do any more shopping. Sure the Z might be a little more fun to drive but that's at the cost of usability. How many seats does a Z have again? ( which goes back to the real question, Why are they comparing these two?) The BMW rides very comfortable

  • love cars in general but if I had a preference I'd go with Japanese cars for the reliability ... the only car I'd take from Europe would be a cheaper priced Porsche because God knows I can't afford a Ferrari, Lambo, Bugatti, or Koenigsegg. And I'm not particularly fond of BMWs, Mercedes (they're nice though), or VWs ... and one good thing I can say about BMW is that 6.1L V12 engine in the McLaren F1 ;D ... but yea give me the Z with the touring and sport packages please :D

  • Comment removed

  • one series are such chick cars.

  • Have can they test a 135i without M package? not fear!!!

  • BMW 135i was a Terrible choice, should've used the z4m. To compare nissan's higher end sports coupe to BMW's lower end sports sedan and it being a close match really doesn't say much for Nissan. Especially since the BMW is smoother to drive and has better day to day practicality.

  • z wins hands down bmw's a thing of the past

  • @sdheath84 How so? BMW is andvancing leaps and bounds in car technology over most Japanese brands. They're currently developing and super car with 911-like performance that gets 90mpg on the hi-way, they have an entire fleet of hydrogen cars ready for production and they're pioneering drive-itself technologies. Most of their cars seamlessly flow performance and practicality for day to day use (i.e. 4-door m3, m5 estate car. And that hybrid supercar was a four seater with loads of cabin room.)

  • @lebes14 I guarentee you will not see BMW come out with a car that gets 90 mpg and has 911 performance, BMW does produce some good power out of there M models but the reliabilty of BMW as well as mercedes is a joke for the money these cars cost there dependebilty should be much better, they have dropped below american built cars now as far as reliabilty goes. as for performance nissan has the GTR which cost less then the M class bmw's and will out perform ANY bmw out there.

  • @sdheath84 Do your research first, they already produced the fully functional prototype and it's set for production in 2012-2013. The bmw vision has extremely advanced aerodynamical qualities and has 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. It's also ultra light design. Yea a gtr will out preform a bmw, bmws are "sports cars", the gtr is a super car. I didn't say that nissan's are slower, just that their performance cars arent as practical as bmw's performance cars.

  • @lebes14 GTR is a super car? How many super cars cost 70K dollars? If thats a super car then most mercedes and BMW's would be considered exotic luxury cars.

  • @sdheath84 well, it's not really a super car persay it's like a high end sports car like an aston martin or f430. The thing is though, it's like the cheap alternative to these other cars, much like the 370z is the cheap alternative to a benz sl55, z4m, or jag xk. they tend to spare luxury so that they can still have performance at a low price. mercedes, bmw are more like luxury sports sedan, or saloon cars. The only japanese cars comparabe to the german cars are lexus, not the gtr or 370z. =/

  • @sdheath84 At least they have some excuse for being unreliable, many of the technologies that go into these cars are state of the art, american cars haven't really advanced in that sense at all, they just copy the japanese. But yea, Japanese cars are way more reliable no one can argue that. I suppose you can only fir so much into a car and keep it working well. Japanese cars are purpose built, German cars are multi purpose, they're really the only ones who make cars of the saloon car class.

  • @lebes14 Dont get me wrong I like any car thats nice no matter what the build. I formely had a 2004 mercedes sl55 AMG, it was a beast. prior to that i had a g35 coupe both were the same year. an 05 the navigation in the G35 was hands down far better then the mercedes, the brakes on my infiniti were better then the mercedes and the handling was better then the mercedes, granted the mercedes had an awesome retractable hard top, (which broke) and for 1 year of owning it 10K in repairs SUCKS

  • @sdheath84 yea i agree, they tend to be over ambitious with their technologies. Thats my biggest complaint with the german cars. out of all japanese cars i REALLY like nissan. but when it comes to technology (not reliablity) i love bmw, they have very impressive technologies. Plus they're a good deal more luxurios, but the repairs are freaking ridiculous. the japanese seem to make there cars simpler and lighter hence cheaper and better handling. I have a friend with the g35, very nice.

  • @lebes14 in addition you say BMW is leaps and bounds in car technology over most japanese cars dosent make sense because nissan has better braking systems better reliabilty and better performance, what BMW can out perform the GTR? None and especially nothing that would be in the same price range as the GTR

  • @sdheath84 i got to disagree with you because the BMW M6 G Power is the same price range and has more HP....the GTR couldnt keep up with that car.

  • @Hunter21875 M6 cost much more then the GTR...... and does not compare to the GTR unless your only talking about a straight drag which still the GTR wins, Honestly what are you smoking saying the GTR couldnt keep up with an M6 are you crazy, my SL55 AMG keeps up with an M6 and GTR's will smoke me.

  • @sdheath84 GT-r is also a purpose built machine, an exceptional one at that. probably the only decent performance car out of japan in a while. BUT, it still isn't as practical as the germn cars are. performance is hardly a good way of comparing the two cars though, they're not even built for the same purprose. it's like comparing a prosche 911 to a maxima (albeit not quite the same severity) They're simply not for the same purpose. Besides, the vision should remedy that.

  • @lebes14 Performance is what they are comparing here? Did you watch the Video? European cars are over priced and under performed. For most models not counting AMG's and M's.

  • @sdheath84, did you watch the video, the soul reason the Z won was because it had thicker tires, the reason the beemer doesnt is because it was making a practical sports car, one with luxury, ride comfort, day to day practicality and performance. The slim tires make sense for any other situation other then performance. But i was under the impression this was comparing the cars not just they're performance.

  • @sdheath84 True, I dont really compare on performance alone usually, because there are a lot of mediocre cars out there that have decent performance. Im talking about the overall essence of german cars. Luxurious, classy, and comfortable. Japanese cars leave these things out in their cars for the most part, Hence the lower prices. If you want a cheaper car that zips about a decent speeds, then get a Japanese car. But european cars are about the full experience. IMHO,

  • @lebes14 Not all European cars are luxury cars. There are many cars sold in Europe that have 1.2~1.5liter engines and are cheaper than Kia Rio.

  • @theyuutuuber lol, really? what im saying is. Europe has bmw, audi, mercedes, ferarri, lamborgini, jaguar, aston martin ect.. in the way of luxury cars. japan has lexus. Obviously not all european cars are luxury cars. just like not all ( but most) japanses cars are cheaper alternatives (lexus lfa.) But when you generalize. my statement tends to be true.

  • @lebes14 True, Europe has many luxury brands. But, there are many cheap brands too like Peugeot, Renault, Fiat, MG, Citroen. But, in America, they only sell luxury European cars maybe other than VW. Even Mercedes in Europe has cheap model like A160 with 1.6liter/FWD layout. I'm just saying the majority of "common" European cars are not luxury cars.

  • Nissan babyyy!!

  • 135i is a much better car?..y? cuz it's more expensive than Z? and because it's from Europe? y? you still think European cars are still superior than Japanese? you are an IDIOT.

  • @dudesky3 European cars a VERY superior to Japanese

  • @dudesky3 because it has superior ride quality and practicality. The Z really has no real use except to stroke ones ego. Don't get me wrong, I love the Z, but it just isn't as practical as the BMW. The only reason the bmw lost was because its thin tires, but these thinner tires make sense in every other situation other then on a track. Example: a wet road. Plus the 135i dosnt look so wacky inside, its a modest proper day to day sports car. Besides, these cars aren't even in the same class.

  • the 135i is a much better car and is easy to get tons of power b/c of the twin turbos

  • @jeffsbored13 ur an idiot fag ..not even gonna argue wit your trifling ass
