@K9unittp im guessing that u want to know how to defend from a zealot rush? Late game zealots aren't really a problem since you´ve probably transitioned into air or ranged.

Protoss: This isn't the perfect strategy and it works best if your opponent hasn't researched the fast sprint thingy for zealots. Mass up stalkers. Stalkers can outrun nearly any(or perhaps every1) protoss ground unit. You can just easily kite them.

Zerg: Harrass him. Either go for fast lings+roach or go for a baneling bust

@K9unittp Terran: Stim packs+marines+marauders+mediva­c should do it. Put some siege tanks in siege mode on nearby high ground.

Reapers are very good against zealots. But if he get's stalkers, bye bye reapers...

Go for a reaper rush and then transition into siege tanks and banshees.

Tactic for all races: Air units...

@swedo88 IMO i think the Major changes arn't to the overall goal or workings of the game but to the possibliltys and the user created maps, i mean since Starcraft brood war was so great why change it, just make it modern add new units new mechanics make it interesting but im looking forward to the Use map setting maps.

@CrustyOatmeal I wasnt refering to the build order in this case. His opponent has tech for a darkshrine and three darktemplars out on the field. The amount of gas thats required to do that and the amount of time is huge.

By then the Terran player should've had a lot more units or buildings but he doesn't even have his main saturated; his expansion is late and he's only mining out of one gyser with two scvs.

The main point of my original post was just to say the terran was a noob lol

protip(s) if playing terran get early refineris, since most terran units in the mid and late game require a lot of gas, and most weaker units have strong upgrades which cosume gas, but don't forget about minerals - a very effective stradegy would be to use 16-22 workers to mine from one site for minerals and 6 gathering gas

Yeah.. I visited Korea two yrs ago... Korea has gaming channels for cable TV I believe. Corporate sponsored pro players playing against each other. Of course they also air baseball matches like in the US. And they are pretty good... you saw how they performed in WBC. I guess they are very competitive people (in a good way)

@GotenSSJ1 Actually Starcraft is quite notorious for being very balanced, which is one of the reasons why it is taking so long for it to be released. Each race has a very different play style, but there aren't any crazy imbalances. You should definitely play the first game though.
