Reasons why this was NOT fake:

1. Would they really trash their parent's house? They must be grounded for like ten years, and have to pay for all the furniture, including the TV!

2. The boy who got squashed didn't stage it. You can see him moving his leg at the end, accidentally INTO the path of the toppling furniture. Ouch.

3. Would they risk it?

And on a side note, apart from the toppling shelf wrecking everything smashing china and TV and, etc, their trick did pretty well!
