yes, but you receive less yield. You just have to start out on a 12 hour light 12 hour darkness don't allow any time for veg and the plant will stay relatively short

Sorry guys, i see you approve all comments, but are you completely sure that the seeds you collected in Malawi were not crossed with skunk or foreign genetics? I ask you this question cause nowadays it's really difficult to find cultivar or land race strains farmers that used to grow pure sativas in these countries have crossed their crops with skunks or indicas to reduce the flowering cycle and increase the yield.. I dont know if thats the case in Malawi

I'm not sure they've collected the traditional malawi sativa.Nowadays, almost all cannabis crops(specially sativas)have been hybridized with skunk or dutch genetics. In Thailand for instance, you no longer find the traditional land race sativa. Some years ago, thai farmers introduced skunk seeds to reduce the flowering cycle and increase the yield.Those males pollinated the entire crops, increasing the yield and reducing the cycle,at expense of the native genetics, which have almost disappeared.
