  • Clearly, some of u people here are xenophic. Try experiencing a mass in another country and you'll find it's cultural influences. Racists will NOT inherite the kingdom of heaven!

  • Hey- there I am in the choir, lol!

BTW, esimmons... to quote Pope John Paul II:

"All churches should be like St. Augustine's".

...And that's all I have to say about that.

  • All I can say is that this church and its congregation are truly special and I am lucky to be able to spend time there on Sundays. If you cant appreciate the feeling I feel sorry for you.

  • "allowed to happen" and "someone should fry" Amazing - and you who say that are Catholic? If you have never been to the Jazz Mass or and other liturgical celebration at St. Augustines then your life has truly not been blessed. As Catholics we are called to active and conscious participation in Mass. Mass at St. Augustines truly fulfills that obligation!

  • Beautiful and heart felt.

  • Oh, my God. I am so sorry this mockery of a Mass is allowed to happen in this country.

  • You're sorry it's "allowed to happen"? Don't believe in freedom of religion? I believe you'll find that's a very important tradition here in this country.

  • Allowed to happen by the Catholic hierarchy. If that's a "Mass," I'm assuming it's taking place in a Catholic parish somewhere, in which case someone should fry, metaphorically speaking.

  • What are you, the church lady? I think this mass is wonderful. This is heart!
