Mr. Obama started out working as a community organiser right out of college and law school.

He got a teaching position at the University of Chicago, teaching Constitutional Law for many years.

He was president of the Harvard Law Review.

He ran and won a State of Illinois Senate seat and served 12 years.

He is in his first term as US Senate, representing the State of Illinois.

He writes his own material and speeches and can actually talk to crowds unscripted.

Can your candidate do that?

How does experience matter Billary has SO MUCH "experience" but she always voted wrongly...NAFTA....the war in iraq..doesnt matter how much "experience" u have if u continue to make the wrong decision...and she prolly wont work with republicans for the common good of our nation...she's been trying since bill was in the white house to get a new healthcare reform...16 years.....look at how many bills barack has introduced to the senate...and how many hillary has....she's a huge publicity hog too..

think about it - what candidate has really laid out IN DETAIL what their plans are? none. why? because when you're in a debate or on a campaign, you just don't have the time for anything other than a high-level description of what you're going to do.

all of the other candidates are just as rhetorical as obama appears to be. if you want to know his plan (or the those of the other candidates), one might wanna dig a little before buying into this hype created by the media and politicians.

the whole issue of his experience and being "nothing but rhetoric" is a myth created by his opponents and the media. i used to have my doubts until i read his book (audacity of hope) and realized that (a) he has plenty of experience (as much as lincoln or kennedy did when they were elected; (b) he actually has a solid PLAN, or vision, that is all laid out; and (c) all of the other candidates are just as "rhetorical" as he is.

Rumsfeld & Cheney are two of the most experienced in Washington, but it didn't stop them from being morally corrupt & f*cking up the country! Experience is NOTHING without the right character and judgement.
