@ncacace depends do you have nas installed to your drive or are you backing up your data to a nas server somewhere else or is this hd attached to nas box which uses it as a storage space. Ask advice from your local geek buddy :)
I got the same LaCie 1tb drive, it won't spin up any more. It spins up almost to full speed and then it shuts down and spins up again and so on. What to do?
@Joniteus I can't access the hdd any more, I opened it and there was a crappy seagate hdd inside. I have put the seagate drive in a other casing, did the freezer trick, etc. but nothing worked.
Don't know what to do now, maybe got to a hdd repair company but they are very expensive...
a hard and annoying lag on video... but thanks a lot dude ;)

What about the internal software server that is installed on the drive?
I have the Internet Space NAS Drive which can be accessed over the internet.

You mean it was that easy to get into? I've been hacking away at mine for months and couldn't get into itXD Thanks for the help.

@niburu2012 it could be that your hd is failing heads (soon to be failing), but that is just a guess. Back up your data and fetch a new one.
