  • Maybe the meeting at Copenhagen is a formality on how we are going to embrace the new energy technology. It looks like the most of the nation already started 5 years ago. But of course I do agree that all the information in the links above needs to be validated.

  • Dear Prime Minister after reading the comment made by Ozzie623. I tried to research and get some updates on what the rest of the world is doing. Below are initiatives from government and private groups since 2008 in Europe, Asia, Oceana to cut carbon emission.

  • Hey Kev. I'm a staunch Labor supporter but I think you should wait till after Copenhagen before you have another vote on the ETS. Let's see what the rest of the world is doing first, get all the facts together and then have a debate on the specifics of the legislation. I know the Australian public want to see action on climate change but you run the risk of looking arrogant if you don't consult other world leaders and economic advisors. Just a thought.
