Great dog! Did you seek him out? I'm wondering because Golden Border Collie is the mix I'm most interested in. I love both breeds, but I don't know where to look for pups. I wonder how frequent their colors are; I saw the litter on youtube that was all black/mixed.
Can I ask how your puppy is? We are thinking of getting a 7 week old border collie/golden retriever puppy, but we are wondering the temperament. Could you share how your puppy is doing? Thanks!!
@kmeoffable I guess the short answer is going to be "It depends." We're actually fostering another dog from the same litter as our dog for the rescue we got him from. They are polar opposites. Our dog is very smart, overconfident, and kind of aloof. His brother, our foster, is not too bright, kind of nervous, but very affectionate. One thing that may help with your search is that both of their personalities are exactly the same now as when they were that age, so get to know the pup in question.
@kmeoffablei had two dogs border collie and golden retriever and they ended up having puppies so i kept one !they are great puppies!they are really smart ,sweet ,and great instincts! lfor example my dad is a farmer so he has sheep and he goes duck hunting .the dog herds sheep like the border collie would and he retrieves the duck like the golden would.so my conclusion: if you mix the 2 sweetest breeds you get a sweet dog.oh !but daily brushing is a must!! good luck and let me know if u get him

Awe, mine is 12 weeks old. I love how chunky they are. So adorable. Mine plays like a kitten too.
