  • Nothin but nothin but right

  • @Waterlooroad0207 that was from wen rose was telling them about the story u copeyd that from rose

  • Five peoples don't know what it is to lose a whole family on the Titanic!!! ¬¬"

  • awesome

  • what does that mean by third and second class tickets thingys?

  • @LaurynOviedo in the past when traveling on great ocean liners and trains as well, they were segregated according to class ie upper class[posh]middle class [lower upper class not so posh]and lower class [the working class, imigrants, the poorer people of society, the accomidation was in keeping to your station in life and what u could afford.class dominated the way things were done marriage, travel, work, housing, intertainment, it was every where to keep u in your place as required by the upper class

  • Thank you for making this video man!!!

    You're AWESOME!!!

  • What pisses me off is that people in the boat were all like, "Oh, just a second/third class baby it's not any of ours so let's let him drown." Thumbs up if you agree

  • i agree Sidney would be very proud he was that yung he shudnt have drowned like that if given a choice(and if didnt already have kids of my own) i would have taken his place but there was more kids that drowned on titanic too but at least he was recovered from his whole family who didnt and also identified and this really brought tears strolling down but :) he's in heaven with God, Jesus and his whole family....:) he's :,) smiling now up in heaven and his pain gone forever

  • where is the titanic graveyard at ?!?

  • Sidney, your a beautiful baby, tho i may have never seen you, i am sorry you had to lose your life to those rich bitches who think they are all that and could care less about 2nd and 3rd class. R.I.P. Sidney, i will never forget you<3

  • what does rms means?

  • @iarbiah Royal Mail Ship

  • how come every ship involved with the titanic disaster was later sunk

  • Thank you so much for making this. Sidney would be proud.

  • Sidney would have turned 100 yesterday!

  • Yes and they also died, because their weren't enough lifeboats, and who would they let go first, well first class. I think why this child's is so gripping is because he was the only child recovered, they said when they burried him that he was a symbol of all the children who died, who weren't found.

  • @caseclosedepisodes. Do you know why people like you blamed Bruce Ismay, well because out of all the ship's builders he was the only one who survived, so it was easier for people to blame it on him, they couldn't blame Thomas Andrews or the Captain because they were dead, but Bruce wasn't, so he got the blame, everyone does, and it sickens me, plus it is one of the stupid things people do.

  • @caseclosedepisodes. If you're just going to blame the whole sinking on just Bruce Ismay then you are stupid, it wasn't just his fault you know, the Captain ignored the ice warnings believed they were normal in April, the Captain had increased the ship's speed, the telecommunicators ignored ice warnings just hours before the reported ice berg sighting from Californian, the binoculars went missing, etc. LEAVE HIM ALONE. Titanic was a tragic accident, and not just one person caused it.

  • @mckfrr Increasing speed was normal in the Titanic's case, because they wanted to avoid all the icebergs going faster. So you cant blame it on Captain because it was just an accident. Moreover, Titanic could go faster. White Star Line was the real guilty, because they didnt put boats enough for everybody, and obviously the maritime legislation must have to take care with the number of boats necesary to avoid a tragedy.

  • Mr. Bodine: We never found anything on Jack. There were no records of him.

Rose: No, there wouldn't be, would there? And I've never spoken of him until now, not even to your grandfather. A woman's heart is a deep ocean of secrets. But now you know that there was a man named Jack Dawson, and that he saved me, in every way that a person can be saved. I don't even have a picture of him. He exists now... only in my memories.

  • the music is awful

  • it's sad and sort of creepy at the same time......

  • Hard to believe that in just two years, it will make the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's sinking. Nothing in history interests me more...just incredible.

  • WE SHOULD BLAME THE TITANIC INCIDENT ON J. BRUCE ISMAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF HE REDUCED THE SPEED THE TITANIC WOULDN'T HAVE HIT THAT ICE BERG.

  • @CaseClosedEpisodes

OH I TOTALY AGREE BUT HE WAS ONLY CONCERNED WITH MAKING HEADLINES AND NOT SAFETY WELL UNFORTUNATELY HE DEFINATELY MADE THE HEADLINES

  • @CaseClosedEpisodes

BUT SADLY MAKING THOSE HEADLINES COST THE LIVES OF SO MANY INNOCENT MEN WOMEN AND CHILDREN.

  • i may have some good news

on july 30 2007 this dear child was identified through mitichondrial dna and they found out that his name was sidney leslie goodwin.

  • iam a realy big fan of titanic

  • That is so sad that the child was never identified. It was a terrible tragedy. What makes me mad is the fact that third class had never little chance of survival because they were at the bottom of the ship. I'm glad that's no longer the case. Now the rich won't have it so easy anymore, and they shouldn't just because they had money.

  • @Tassle101 that is the the way the rich thinks they dont really care for the low class

  • Horrible tragedy, this was, 98 years ago today.

  • 1 one who knows were this graveyard is?

  • @torasmannen sorry for late answer but i think in halifax.

  • omg :'( i have a two year old son, and this made me ball my eyes out like a baby...he was just old enough to know something was wrong. The poor child must have been so scared! I can only imagine the terror that his mother felt. RIP X'(

  • People were mean, are mean, and going to be mean forever!!!! That should not of treat 3rd class people like that. People are equal no matter what class are they in!!!!:(((( Really sad for all the people!

  • Fantastic story. Watched it with a tear in my eye. Sometimes we forget how lucky we all are.

  • @vinvola i am realded to one of the titanic survivers ! i am not kidding

  • @richbandicoot Yeah me to well they have dies now and i never met them but i really wish i had

  • That was so sad :( . yet a beautiful video.

  • This really is a lovely video and the music is perfect... thank you

  • To Cand0002

The story is the operators turned off their radios and went to bed after repeatedly trying to warn the Titanic of ice. The radio operators on the Titanic were trying to work (getting out private passenger messages) so they so much as told the Californian to leave them alone..The Californian complied...

  • Oh I just watched the whole thing, you already knew who it was

  • the unknown child has been Identified its Sidney Leslie Goodwin

  • Comment removed

  • omg, that actually made me cry, that is SO sad :(

  • Comment removed

  • to Think all the passengers would of lived if the California the ship that was only two miles away from the Titanic had responded to the distress call, i'm not sure what the story is about that.

  • HI Sidney!

  • it's so sad.

  • people on 3rd class died :(

  • out of 700 or more 3rd class, only 200 or more survived.

  • more then half the passengers on Titanic were steerage..

  • Yeah and did you know why? because the Rich people didnt want to go on the life boat with the poor people in 3rd class. so the 3rd class people had to wait, eventually, they died

all thanks to stuck up bastards.

  • a whole family died just because they had 3rd class tickets. the world is a sad place.

  • @pickledeyeballs that is ashamed

  • So many people died on that great ship so unneccesarily too :( If only they had had enough life boats for everybody, but still there would have a significant loss of life but nowhere as near as many people as that fateful night.

  • 1st of all who the heck is annie theyre talking about (dont reply to that.) second of all R.I.P. Sydney Goodwin 1911-1912.

  • test

  • annie honey. this is sooooooooo sad !

    it sounds like the BeeGees.

    is it ?

  • Great video. What a tragedy. So many died that night...this was only one of many. inspiring persistence must have driven all the investigators.

  • This is a really moving well edited and thoughtful video,a fitting tribute to this little child

  • He's lucky still he was given a name.

My country's maritime victims which were unidentified were just like buried away and forget all about them.

Impressive video and sad at the same time.

  • i take it back they did find out who he was sorry

  • thats saaad...=[

  • you into titanic too we should be related thats so freeky

  • I am related to a first class passenger traveling at the time.

My great uncle died when the Titanic sank and my connection to the disaster is very personal.

My whole life I have studied her and how kismet lined up and set into motion the events of that night.

This child was a 3rd class pasenger and has since been identified and yes there was a J. Dawson onboard.

After the crew perished many families were forced to pay for the deceased sailors uniform and pay stopped for them on that night.

  • thats the werst thing that the familys only got paid up to the point of there death sad realy but the company was bust any way and titanic was ment so save them but as we all know that wasnt to be

  • haha maybe we are related...

  • well ask your dad if he has anythinig to do with yorkshire then we wil know my last name is brookes so see whot you can find out mikey oh by the way my middle name is mickael

  • haha i was just kidding...im sure were not related ....my parents are american not european....oor somethin like dat haha

  • i know you was silly sod so was i i hope every thing is ok today and no more shudders see you soon

  • i dont think they ever did find who the baby was i thought that he had disolved into the earth when they tryed to dig him up as the ground they are in is very acidic thats whot i think so some one please let me know more if you know my computer whont let me watch all this clip so sorry

  • boo hooo hoo so sad i am crying

  • rest in peace little sidney. u will always be our titanic baby.

  • hmhs britannic

  • Yeah i know just how that is you see i was on that ship in a pervious lifetime id did get off and was about nine years old i was female in that life time not like now when i am male.

    ah well

but then i was killed later in that life time so did not live to make it to today it was 1929 when i was klilled.

so i know most of you will never belive or accpet that there are those of us who were on that ship in previous lifetime but we really were accept it or not.

    more later.

  • i think i had a previous live i think it was onborad titanic i feel so contated when reading about it or watching these videos

  • My mother, she is fro Mèxico, and she says she was onboard of Titanic when it sunks. She is now 76. I am not someone to judge her by thinking about that but in regretion of past lives she has discovered that when she was facing fear of swiming =:S Maybe she was, who knows only her and God. And i respect this mind thinking of everybody =:)

  • I feel the same way! Except I died.

I was a third class passenger.

    A lady, in her 20's.

I died on the bow when it was going down into the water (I wasen't on the railing like jack and rose were in the movie)

    :(

  • Wow......RIP little Sidney....xx

  • is a really sad story , at the time thanks God that sciene is so advanced now to know his identity at last no one deserves to remain unknown, im in tears right now.

  • im glad they found out who the child was...Hello finally Sidney.

  • beautiful video!!! rip sidney, the goodwin family and all who perished on the titanic

  • it is sooooo sad...

the whole story of titanic is sooo sad

so much people died and babies too.. soo sad!!

  • wow.. the ending made me cry... HI sidney!

  • What an amazing story. So sad. Is it really true that he has finally been identified?

  • The lttle baby now lives with God. What a short life!!

  • that was absolutely incredible. Thank you for making this video and posting it!!

  • the unknown child is goodman

  • that s so touching thank you

  • so very sad but im glad they cared enough to try and find out who the child was

  • btw i lost my pass word and i was the person below hhace21.

  • i love this song so much!! so sad really

  • i watched this 12 times its so sad yet i love it

  • Gusunder wrote: "...if i think about this again i renounce my faith, why would god do this" God is not to blame. We have sinned against God, causing a curse on the earth. Every adult in the world that lived during the time of Titanic is now in eternity! For the believer, death is like falling asleep and waking up in the arms of their Father. Those who took faith in their "unsinkable" self-righteousness faced the judgment and anger of God for lying, stealing, sexual immorality, murder, etc.

  • It was a sad event in history. We must not blame God for a tragedy, but be reminded that even tho things on this Earth can be tragic, God knows and he sees the bigger picture that we cannot see. Who knows what the outcome of this boy, and the other people who passed on, life would have turned out. At least now, he is forever at peace, with our Lord God. I have no doubt this sweet boy is now in the arms of Jesus.

  • Great job on this video to the author. Your work is impressive.

  • Can anyone tell me what state did they buried the Titanic victims and what city.

  • if there is family of the child you can ask or the mom or dad (if they are livin i dont think so but..) then you now more about the child

  • A very moving video and very well presented. As a parent, we all wamt to protect our children, but what those poor people went through to know that, no matter what, they couldn't save their children. Heartbreaking.

  • this is real.oh my god

  • This video has broke my heart, ive lost a baby sister when she was just six months, im just thinking about that poor child and hoping when he died it was in the arms of a loved one his mummy or daddy I really hope his short life never ended with him struggling and dying on his on. R.I.P. hes in heaven now

  • This child was re-identified as Sidney Leslie Goodwin, from England, by a new series of DNA tests done in 2007.

Originally it was said to be the child of Maija (Maria) and Juha Panula of Finland, Eino Viljami Panula (who is a relative of mine, which is why i am writing this). Most poeple thought that it was EIno due to the first series of tests done in 2001/2.

New tests have positively identifed the child as 19-month-old Sidney and not as 13-month-old Eino.

    Either way,

    RIP.

  • jesus chris if i think about this again i renounce my faith, why would god do this

  • wow i feel sad i never thought about all the people who died in the titanic and around the world

  • That last figure of my previous message should naturally be " :'-( " Sorry for typing error...

  • A few more words about Panula family... Mother Maria panula (41) was already on one of the lifeboats with 2 youngest of her children - Eino (13 months) and Urho (2) - when the remaining 3 boys - Ernesti (16), Jaakko (14) and Juha (7) were stopped trying to enter the same boat. At that point those 3 boys asked, "please, mother, let's die together"... I might somehow understand the crew's decision to separate two teenagers from their mother, but that 7-year old... :'-)

  • there was a Documentry about The Titanic's unknown child, at Halifax they tried to lift out the remains but a lot of the graves were washed away somehow, but they found a bone that was left, they did extensive DNA research to match it with survivours families.

  • You should use some Titanic music

  • god dammit way didn't they save the kid

  • The child was already deceased when he was found.

  • I don't think 3rd class passengers even made it to the upper deck area. The class system at the time sealed their fate I guess. Nice that someone cared enough after all that time to try and put a name on the child

  • According to accounts at the time 3rd class was told evacuation would occur for them last.

The ship was new the crew was new and many of them didn't know their way around.

Then by the time they were allowed to the top it was to late.

Almost all of the first class passengers survived except my ancstor who perished.

Women and children first all my life I have had a connection to the disaster much more personal then most historians will ever have.

  • the unknown child is my firends ansester

  • sad

  • So sad.

  • so sad! cant stop myself from crying...

  • same

  • :( so sad:'( ihan itkettää!

  • he was that old =( poor child

  • hi love the video one thing on their father was not on the ship but in pennslvaina (thats where their destination was and from their they where to get another boat from america to pennslvaina) but all the rest is great :)

  • The Father was on the ship, the whole Goodwin family perished. Encyclopedia Titanica has all the biographies of every passenger and crew member.

"The entire family was lost in the sinking."

  • yeah they all died i go there i just google rms titanic and there it is

  • DNA tests connected this child to his "today living" Finnish relative, Maria Schleifer, who´s grandmother Liisa was Maria Panula´s sister, and Maria Panula was mother of this unknown child, so far I know, Eino Viljam Panula. How DNA tests could have been wrong? That I don´t know. But I do know that the book I red was based on true and hard research.

  • Few years ago I red a book written by Ulla Appelsin, titled "The unknown child of Titanic(released only in Finnish?) who told Panulas´s family story. In this book it is told that when this unknown child´s grave was opened (2001), they found few teeth and part of wrist bone.

  • Sorry, I ment 13 MONTHS old. He was born10.3.1911.

  • so this video is wrong? It wasn't Sidney? Where is this info coming from/ Not that Im saying your wrong. Wish someone would post a Video about it,, This is interesting to learn. Thanks

  • Name of this unknown child was Eino Panula. He was a 13 years old Finnish boy when he died in the sinking of of Titanic. He´s familys story is very tragic. So far i know it is only released in Finnish, but hopefully all yoy can get familiar with little Eino and his familys story.

  • thanks

  • I would like to know the name of this song and who sings it please.

  • song: edible flowers by:the finn brothers.

  • So sad, that poor poor family and the poor child ='( It must have been horrific and so scary. <3

  • amazing, the ending

  • so sad i loved it mean on the unknown child though my heart goes out to anyone who died on the titanic in 1912

  • Very emotional, very good. But I have no idea why you've labeled this "RMS Olympic"

  • but... the olympic didn't sink

  • i read that in every street in an english city one house had a family connection to somebody on the titanic

  • It was Southampton. the city was just devastated by the disaster and there are other towns in Europe, America and Canada where it was just as bad. My neighbor grew up in a small Canadian town and her grandmother knew a lot of people who had died on the Titanic and she would point out where they lived. It became so personal to my neighbor that she couldn't go see the 1997 version of the disaster

  • i hated that movie.

  • Me too. I hate how they made it all into a sappy love story that strays from fact and reality and how they villanized people who's anger and frustration is actually understandable. But I will say that I love the sets.

  • Yeah, the "Flopping" effects and the life-size sinking wrecks were impressive-Did you know, that in the scene where the glass dome on the Grand staircase breaks, they actually just dumped loads and loads of water on the actual set in a one-chance only effect that wrecked the entire Grand Staircase set.

It's a good job they didn't have the lens cap on!

  • very nicely done a credit to you.

  • A must see...Beautifully told, Excellent.....

  • Still good mate, well done.
