@robertwmartens You can see Mr Fred Whyatt as a boy at the school, on George's Hyde Grammar School Football Team film. He's the one attempting a goal at the beginning of the film, and rubbing his face and smiling at the very end. Fred returned to the school some years later as a teacher, and was my sports master. He is 80 next month (March 2010).
