You are right, you don't need a lot to cook well. I like the Max Burton burner. It is relatively inexpensive and heats much faster (and adjust much quicker) than a traditional hotplate. I may do a show on the various types of table top burners in the future... but the bottom line is induction is the way to go.
Great video! I only have one 10" Lodge Skillet with Lodge Glass Cover right now, but its all I need for Batchelor cooking. Works great, cleans up easy, and never fails to deliver a great meal.
Could you talk a bit about that Max Burton Induction Cooker you were heating it on? An Induction Plate is going to be my next kitchen item, but I'm still in the learning stages about that type of appliances.
