Truth be told, I never liked Burton's Batman movies. But the soundtracks were fantastic. This song actually does a better job encapsulating what makes Batman & Catwomans relationship so interesting than, well, any movies or tv shows have, and better than most comics with the two I'd say. xD

@lonkylaine They're not bad movies, but they're awful BATMAN movies IMO "Toss a guy down a manhole with a grenade pin pulled and SMILE as it explodes" is more Punisher, not Batman. Schumacher's are just bad in a different way, going FAR too comedic & light after Burtons were FAR too dark & grim.

Some people like super-dark Batman, I'm not one of them.

Nolan's movies are close to perfect for me. Bruce Timm's cartoons are best though.

What I loved most was the theme of duel identity starting with Bruce Wayne not being able to remember if he was Batman or Bruce Wayne he first saw Selina Kyle (I still love the 'I mistook me for someone else' line) and continuing through Selina becoming Catwoman and even with Penquine/Cobblepot. That kind of genius is what the later two movies lost when Tim Burton was removed so they could turn it into something akin to that campy 60's show.

@LibraGamesUnlimited You must have forgotten that Bruce's storyline in Batman Forever was about him coming to terms with his dual identity, which at first he sees as a compulsion but later at the end realizes that he has a choice. Even the title of the movie, "Batman Forever", echoes his inner monologue, "Am I destined to be Batman forever? Why can't I live a normal life?"

I had never seen the music video until now. Its an awesome video. Great song. Despite the giant plot hole in the Penguin's story, Batman Returns was a great movie. In a way this video is a sad reminder of the degeneration of Tim Burton's Batman, as being the last good one. Although I love Christopher Nolan's Batman; Tim Burton's Batman still ranks #1 in my book.

In the scene where Bruce Wayne is reading up on the Red Triangle Circus indicates Penguin may have been a freak show performer for them. Except all other evidence (aside from his circus gang) shows Penguin spent his whole life in the sewers.
