whether he was a mexican hero but Guy WIlliams played the role superbly he filled a live in the character.

Actually, Zorro was a Californiano, not a Mexican. His was of an old Spanish family, and that made him mostly European in ethnicity. Guy Williams looked the part well enough, as did many of the other actors, though admittedly not all. There were an awful lot of Anglo faces. But hey - it is Disney, it is fun and fantasy. Look at all the Japanese actors who've played Chinese characters in the past.
