In real situations I don't max out fire magic at all and go for Earth/Air, so really I would've just brute forced it:

Cast slow, move your shooters to a corner

Buff shooters (bless, etc etc) and attack

then spam force field

Effective indeed.Not having Bersker, Don't panic! there is another way.

-Easy and effective way is very simple and i wonder why nobody ever used it! Use force field. The battlefield here is ALWAYS the same. You see top and bottom narrow spots which you both can block with a force field. The nagas will 'defend' which makes their turn pass very quickly! Your shooters simply shoot them down in that time. If you have enough shooters this method is probably even faster.

Cool, I did this when I was 12...

You need spells. You need to cast. You need 700+ spell points. You can cast all day long. Summon elemental. Mass slow, mass bless. Or cast firewall+quick sand.

How did you record this? I tried recording HOMM3 with fraps, That failed miserably (basically got a slideshow instead of a video). I have a decent PC (i5 2500K, 6GB RAM, GTX 570, etc).

At 3:57 you could have just force fielded the lower passage and Naga would have to go all way round.

@SonGokuSjj3 that is an Enchanter (new to the Armageddon's Blade expansion). In this campaign, the main hero's ability is that he can upgrade mages/arch mages to enchanters (I think monks and zealots as well, but don't quote me on that) while they are in his party

The surrow spell is also important in this fight 1 unlucky morale an u can lose a lot of troops. Without berserker i go - slow, surrow, blind + clone/buff my troops - bless, precision, and the spell that makes your defense 0 but atack over 9000 :P and shoot them up.

Furthermore, for the rest of the scenenario its a too small army to beat the fairy dragons

I know how to beat 3 k nagas with 100 titans without using berserker.

a very very good strategy if you don't have berserker is to use slow, then blind them one by one until only one can move. at that point, haste, bless, prayer, and precision your troops, and create clones of titans/enchanters, range them to death. (make sure you have an ammo cart though)

I'm doing a lets play on heroes and this is where I'm recording at the moment. I've confirmed you don't need anything except slow/blind (and town portal to save time massing troops) to beat these guys(girls?). 90-100 titans and 300+ enchanters + ammo cart + slow/block choke with blind and you're set. For faeries the only way I've found to kill them w/o losing gobs of troops is expert earth resurrect spam while keeping the last group blinded :/.

@TheMelnTeam Yeah, I managed to finish the campaign by now (including the massively disappointing Azure Dragon's level). My error was not taking up Expert Fire magic which made things a lot more difficult. However, the combination mass slow and expert blind + berserk works wonders. Using frenzy on your own (ranged) troops works wonders as well, since it boosts attack (you dont want to be hit here anyway!). Know what also works? Expert Clone on the enchanters, and then Expert Bless :)

Yeah, it's surprising how many ways one can approach this and still win. When I started my LP and someone told me I'd need to kill 3500 naga queens it scared me a little haha. I also learned how ridiculous the force field spell can be; this fight can be completely walled using 2 of them! IMO the only NECESSARY magic school for this campaign is (as usual) earth...they'll stay blinded for a long time with that spell power even w/ the basic effect lol.

IMO the 2 highest priorities in first scenario are blind + ressurrection :). You can keep full forces that way, and carry them into the rust scenario to easily rush out purple. Rust dragon scenario has 5+ tower towns you can take to level 5 mage guilds (with library) and you should get all the spells you need there.

Now that I'm more experienced with this game I am 100% certain you can win this fight with just blind + mass slow, though I used FF too in my video.

I had a method similar to this, except I used master genies and master gremlins as well. Had the gremlins as fodder to whittle down the naga's little by little, while I saved the genies for later to cast prayer(which was out of sheer luck) on the titans and enchanters to get the job done. Otherwise, VERY nice job!~
