u are pulling in the wrong direction - democracy world wide is a massive fraud
i dont sympathize with fanatic muslims - i dont sympathize with US & western democracy either - ppl around the world have a more important struggle - this struggle is not a political one - human race is at the edge of deshumanization
look at the big picture - u say iranian ppl are hostage in his own land - i say ppl around the world is being hostage in his own planet - u say "a tree" im talkin about the forest
"Any government that accepts Mahmood Ahmadinejad as the new president of Iran has betrayed the Iranian people, endangered world peace, and has no sympathy for human pain. "
I think it's not a matter of the US getting involved. I should hope those days of unilateral involvement by any country are over. It's up to the UN now. We're all hostage to governments that prod us into hating other nations. I think there is an interesting correlation between the grass roots campaign of the people in getting Obama in power and the efforts of our Iranian brothers. Though getting Obama elected pales in comparison with the sacrifices of our Iranian brothers.
The facts are very clear. I am an Iranian patriot and have seen the attrocities committed by this regime. We are fighting to free ourselves from this satanic criminal mullah gang of murderers who have been destroying Iran for the past 30 years. They have taken our 70 million people hostage and currently Iran is a complete police state. Please help us by pressuring your polititions (gutless as the maybe)Not to recognize&negotiate with these criminals. LONG LIVE FREE INDEPENDENT IRAN.
What impresses me the most about the Iranian people in addition to their bravery is the number of people who are articulate in the English language. It's no small feat to speak more than one language, and still yet, so eloquently. iran is such a paradox of refinement and barbarism. It's as if the Mullahs and the urban population came from different countries.
You are being vague and hazy, sir. Compare my language patterns to those of ConzEmpire. You will find them to be quite divergent.
I am strongly on the side of the protesters in Iran. People do not idly risk wearing-out their shoes, making their feet sore, risk getting bruises, risk dieing.
Example: If a business owner hires thugs to force his employees to make them work, that system will not flow well. Resentment will grow. Productivity will fail. This is true anywhere and everywhere.
If the people of a nation are brutalized, they will, reluctantly, but by necessity and inevitability, fight back.
The question is only how deaf can a leader be, and how strong will the potential grow, before the reluctance snaps, and the energy of the populace is unleashed?
How deaf & out-of-step can a leader be? How catastrophic does he want the result to be? How much of his own legacy does he want to implode?
"You stupid son of a bitch. Why the fuck are you trying to bait me into such a lowbrow debate within such worthwhile forum? You are clearly outclassed by me. Oh, excuse me. You are the irrefutable source of truth and I have no right to express any opinion to the contrary. You're fighting with everybody on these posts. You're obviously very immature and emotionally unstable. So, you're not a Republican...libertarian then? You're obviously conservative.
If leaders still remain deaf to those loud voices, remain dislocated from necessity, by the very nature of the situation those leaders escalate the problem.
If those leaders order troops to attack protesters nothing will be gained by it; the disagreement does not change, it grows
Push a paper degree from an institution under the nose of an un-thoughtful baton-wielding anti-riot troop, and see if that keeps you from getting your head cracked.
Leaders (who are people too) should pay attention to the people that make up their population, from which they draw strength. Failing that, the people should be allowed to voice their grievances more loudly. Leaders & governments ignore that at their own peril.
Glory to the brave and intelligent Persian people, the birth place of American political thought. (Cyrus was required reading for the founding fathers, in case you didn't know)
No, the birthplace of democracy was GREECE. And the founding fathers read a lot of European writers who brought up ideas of how to run a democratic gov, and why it was every man's right to have certain liberties...

Well yes, it would be just as easy for me to say I have 6 degrees.
And when the hell as a dictatorship just handed power to it's people because they did peaceful protests? Oh yea that ONE TIME in Fantasy World!
I'm not saying at the first sign of rebellion we jump in guns blazing. But a few air strikes and Sp Op units could be very useful if a rebellion started.
But why the shit do you care about arguing about this crap on youtube? Srsly?
Yeah, that's the ticket. Promote democracy, overthrow dictatorships and then control the type of governments you install there. If you're American that makes sense, but the US trying to control other countries does not sit well with the rest of the world. Not that you would care, but you can't preach democracy and impose your will on other countries. To think otherwise makes you a fascist. You don't mind certain economic interests running the US or the world for that matter. Yup, republican.

How can Iranian rulers pray and in the same time want to torture and murder so many innocent people? And they kill other people in the name of Allah!Iranian people, I hope you will feel the world sympathy;you are so courageous that I am sure the tyrants will lose their fight
i hope the screams "Allah Akbar" are very strong again tonight in Tehran, giving courage to people to again tomorrow go in the streets to fight for freedom ! and to finally outtrow the dictators
There comes a time in a course of ones lifetime when one must stand up and not be silent any longer, when oppression and tyranny must be met head on, when the voices of the masses rise up in a single voice and say enough is enough. To all the brave people of Iran who are demonstrating, the eyes of the world are upon you, stand your ground, dont waiver, be strong and be brave.
All tyrannical dictatorships when shaken to the core by the truth will always fall like a house of cards.
I am praying for Iran and your struggle for freedom. I will not stop praying for you until I see the people of Iran rejoicing in the streets. You are not alone. We see your plight ...we love you. U.S.A.
I am happy these protests are taking place and I hope it will achieve what my generation failed to achieve in 1979. Unfortunately experience has shown that this is a savage regime and will never leave power without force. Mullah's only understand force. I wish that the ideologies of King and Ghandi work here too as I love my country and my people be it Persian, Turk, Baluch, or Turkman etc. They are all Iranian and deserve better than this pathetic regime and the lunetic Imam "Nahs".
The Islamic Republic of Iran has to go. The worship satan they are barbaric satanic evil cruel and sadistic. Help free the people of Iran. Humanity is our only religion
May Almighty GOD grant Iranians freedom from the CRAZIES like Ahmedinajad !!!! STAY STRONG MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS !!!!
I PRAY THAT YOU WILL GET THE HELP YOU NEED !!!!! Aameen. IF YOU KEEP UP THE FIGHT THEN THE WORLD GOVERNMENTS WILL REALIZE THAT THIS MAN IS NOT THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE. HE WILL NOT BE RECOGNIZED !!!! STAY STRONG !!!!!!!THE FUTURE OF YOUR COUNTRY IS NOW IN YOUR HANDS !!!!!!!
MAY ALMIGHTY GOD HAVE MERCY ON THE BRAVE ONES!!!!!!!
A lot of us in America stand with the Iranian people as they fight for their rights. We call on President Obama not to accept the outcome of the election!
Mahmoud Ahmedinejad's regime is striking a coup against the people of Iran. We must support them, and reject any calls for a militaristic policy based on fear that would only hurt these people whose values are one and the same as ours. WE ARE ALL IRANIANS.
We are with you, and recognize that your leadership does not represent the Iranian people any more then the US government represents us. Governments throughout the world are steering the populations towards world war because they believe the end result will be a one world government. The American people now recognize their plan, and are done serving as their attack dogs. We support your efforts towards peaceful self governance.
Love and Light to all Iranian people and to all who feel this call for freedom resounding in their hearts. It is a Universal sound that in reality knows no nationality, religion, gender, or race.
Somewhere in Iran there is a mother. She is afraid. She is scared for her family and her country. To the maker of this video: That was very thoughtful and profound. We are all people. We feel joy and hate, love and pain. PLEASE show compassion for your fellow man. The wars(occupations) my country is part of are awful, just awful. Remember when they wanted every American kid to send a dollar to every Iraqi kid? "Hi sweetie, we just shot your dad, but heres a dollar." I'm so sorry.
i am telling my President that he needs to get it together and recognize the importance of this moment. America must stand behind these protests no matter how it is preceived - it is the right thing to do.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
its so much more than just Ahmedinejad...is the entire Islamic way of running the country...Islam is a disaster...every Islamic country is rife with atrocious human rights abuses...Islam is the the problem here people...Islam and freedom are incapable of coexistance.what good has Islam given to humanity? nothing but suffering...i thank my lucky stars i wasn't born muslim..its a barbaric, medieval, backward, stifling way of life
Do all the muslims a favore and please take the name fatima out of your user name please. And know that Iran has no place for Shah parast people like you.
why would i want to go to Iran? Islamic immigration is a ONE way street...1000's of muslims line up to get into the west...no westerners ever says "gee i would love to immigrate to Tehran, or Kabul, or Riyadh...would be a great place to raise a family" for 30 years i have watched footage of Iranians chanting "Death to America...Death to Israel"..the United States all of a sudden should have compassion for Iranians?
sorry dude...i live in a free country...i can use any username i choose
u don't seem to understand D message I was trying 2 give you. If U hate Islam so much why are U using an islamic user name? U are entitled to UR opinion about Iran,. Frankly I am with U in throwing this regime. U should realize that people in a free country respect everyone's believe. U seem to show hate 4 islam. And U take pride in living in a free country? U are giving this free country an ugly face just like UR grand parents who were slave owners and black haters, U hate Muslims & islam
He didn't say he hated Islam, whatever that really means, what he is saying, is that there is a definite double-standard. The same rules do not apply for Americans as for Muslims. You can blasphemize Americans all you want and it's just criticism. We criticize back and we're bigoted. I'm in the middle on many of these issues. Yes, the US has done a lot of wrong. Supporting Israel more than Palestine for one. However, Muslims can come here and feel safe, we can't do the same in a Muslim country.
Don't pull everyone under the same comb. The Iranians who were chanting "death to america" are obviously not the same ones who are protesting right now. They are the supporters of AHMEDIGETAJOB. "GEE", how stupid can one get? And I've seen plenty of Iranians who have moved back to Iran from the west
It's like saying Americans are hypocrites because on one hand they're bible-thumpers and depraved sexually on the other. Two different sectors of the population. Like Iran most the hard liners are just rednecks in the States. It's the ignorant people who are intolerant of other peoples. I suspect I would feel very comfortable among educated Iranians and wouldn't find too much to disagree about.
Some arabs and islamic fanatics are supporting ahmadi & the mullahs BUT NOT IRANIANS. I AM AN IRANIAN PATRIOT from small town & was in Iran &9 out of 10 people hate ahmadinejad&
mullah system. Elections are just shams to mask the dictatorship. Mousavi is one of them too. People are using this chance to stand up against mullahs. Ahmadi & his mullah masters are bunch of criminals, rapists and killers responsible for jailing, torturing and murdering millions of Iranians over the past 30 years.
I always thought that stupid people like u did not exist ... u think the islam without thinking in terms! Compassion has no limit and should NOT be linked to prejudice. Much less with rancor! Gosh, please rethink what you just said...
Harsh words and not very diplomatic, but with some element of truth. Though this no doubt would offend many Muslims when it comes from a non-Muslim, I'm sure many feel the same way. However, there is radical Islam and moderate Islam. The Muslim religion was once very tolerant, however the scholars made comments and interpretations that were anything but that, to change how its practiced. I often wonder if Islam and Christianity are one in the same.
I've posted this on facebook to continue spreading the word. Thank you for this eloquent statement and know that many people around the world are supporting you (I'm American). God bless.
thank you: I am with you and will contact my senators/reps tomorrow to give them this message: Do not accept these fraudulent elections. I am amazed by the people of Iran. In America, Bush steals an election, and everyone grumbles and goes shopping. In Iran, people have real courage, taking to the streets.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Iranian people. Though I fear this will come to nought. Its not Mahmoud Amadinejad thats it is the problem, because Mir-Hossein Mousavi is much the same. I have a feeling though he is not an antisemite
The problem is the clerics
They are the people who make the laws and rule with an iron hand. They are the ones that need ot be defeated
This is a hard time for all of us. Lets treat each other right and put down the least among us who control so much by taking advantage of the good will of the rest of us.
I love all of you and wish you the strength and freedom you deserve and continue to take for yourselves.
That's right! Down with dictators and down with ethnocentrism. Don't side with your country or enter into rivalries based on your ethnic origin. What strickes me the most is how much alike the bigots are on both sides. Iran has the "death to America" jerks, we have the "bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" idiots, or the assholes who refer to people from the Middle East as ragheads. You can't lump everyone together according to their country.
I thought protestors weren't outraged by the fact that Mahmoud won but rather by the margin of victory, and the fact the he won his competitor's home town?
A government is nothing without the people who support it. The people might actually stand a chance of regainning control of their government. Good luck our prayers are with you.
I am also an artist. I stand with you for freedom, tolerance and justice for all people. I especially have appreciated the generally peaceful and unarmed protest.
Thanks for this video and footage.
You may also know me from Twitter where I am @judyrey
We realize your struggle and your bravery. We stand with the Iranians. You are fighting for the right reasons and are not only shaping Iran, but you're shaping the world as we know it! Keep fighting the good fight. In the end persistence will prevail and Iran will be FREE!
Sir, are you trying to compare your Gov to Bush. I want to help Iranians anyway I can. But do not bash on something you know little about, and expect help from me.
I'm sad to say, I think Obama is to much of a coward to directly help the people of Iran. But, I think you have the support of many Americans, and others across the globe.
If Obama were to directly help them, he'd discredit the movement. You think it would be helpful for a movement in Iran to be *known* have U.S. backing? That's naive.
Right, because we haven't backed every moron with a few AKs and one doctor visit short of being in a pysch ward "revolutionary" in the past 30years that said they are fighting for freedom? We've at least given some cash. And The US would not discredit the movement, not that I support the US moving in yet, it has not gotten to the "point of no return" for rebellion yet. IT could still die down by next week and we'll all be talking about what obama's wife is wearing or something useless like that.
Second: I fully support the Iranians who want their freedoms, I hope they do not need to take up arms, but if it comes to that, I hope that the US gov will support them, militarily. I liked the video, I just didn't like the Bush statement.
If your against the Iranians trying to gain their freedom, you need to be shot. Thats the only way to deal with your disease.
Im not at all Iranian, But day and night i am watching this on twitter and every blog out there. I could do this all day, Im beating myself that i wish i was a hacker so i can help directly but i havent learnt anything yet. But im with all the iranians there in spirit. This is a modern day revolution, and i got a front row seat.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! Ask America for help... The way that we are seen in the world today, are hands are tied to do anything! As lately we are clearly hated by many people in this world (according to many youtube comments!) We Americans are not our Government! As you are not yours... and the Citizens of the US and the World support you!!!
But, for the US to get involved in any way as a Government, the world will need to know that you do indeed want our help...
Help us... Make the world hear our scream.. we're tired... spread this video and let your government know that we need support... how many people should die?? that we get the support?? let all americans know
Hey Obama put some fucking pressure on Russia to support these guys. Ask them to send in some Spetznas to at the LEAST restore the phone and internet so they can get their message out.
The Videos and Pictures might shame the world into action.
Help us... Make the world hear our scream.. we're tired... spread this video and let your government know that we need support... how many people should die?? that we get the support?? let your people know
good vid, we agree and word is spreading, support is building globally.can people organize to protect hospitals, and other safehouses etc? streets need to be taken back, basij scum driven back or captured & held in a trial in front of the parlament - does citizens arrest exist in Iran?
This is niaeve - but are some mosques sympathetic to the people of Iran? if so - would the Basjis trash and kill in them? People who know the terain & culture could fill in the blanks on this - block the streets,
Moshen, as brutal as the theocratic rulers in Iran are, do the majority of Iranians really support Mousavi? Weren't their polls indicating Ahmadinejad was the favorite? I read that Ahmadinejads supporters are rural and Mousavi's urban. Which is a bigger population?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Let's play devil's advocate: Say the opposition won in Iran and Ahmadinejad supporters rioted claiming vote rigging. Would the world be up in arms saying the election was not fair?!
I personally don't care who Iranians vote as president, but I have yet to see any proof of the election being staged. Anyone can say the election is fixed. If there is proof then yes, something needs to be done, but if majority truly voted for Ahmadinejad then what? Will the opposition supporters accept it?
I often wonder if indeed Ahmadinejad won. After all, most of Mousavi's support is from the urban areas. The less educated rural areas don't support him. Even Obama held out on passing judgement on the results. However, what made this election suspect in the minds of Mousavi supporters is the fact that the results were announced in two hours and evidence that the ballots were stuffed. Also, there wasn't as much support on the street for Ahmadinejad. They had to bus people in to support him.
American dictators finally showed their true face. Fucken imperialists. Watch out! Your Wall Street will be 'liberated' faster than Iran!

"Hi sweetie, we just shot your dad, but heres a dollar." I'm so sorry.

its so much more than just Ahmedinejad...is the entire Islamic way of running the country...Islam is a disaster...every Islamic country is rife with atrocious human rights abuses...Islam is the the problem here people...Islam and freedom are incapable of coexistance.what good has Islam given to humanity? nothing but suffering...i thank my lucky stars i wasn't born muslim..its a barbaric, medieval, backward, stifling way of life

why would i want to go to Iran? Islamic immigration is a ONE way street...1000's of muslims line up to get into the west...no westerners ever says "gee i would love to immigrate to Tehran, or Kabul, or Riyadh...would be a great place to raise a family" for 30 years i have watched footage of Iranians chanting "Death to America...Death to Israel"..the United States all of a sudden should have compassion for Iranians?
sorry dude...i live in a free country...i can use any username i choose
fatimasadrcity 2 years ago
u don't seem to understand D message I was trying 2 give you. If U hate Islam so much why are U using an islamic user name? U are entitled to UR opinion about Iran,. Frankly I am with U in throwing this regime. U should realize that people in a free country respect everyone's believe. U seem to show hate 4 islam. And U take pride in living in a free country? U are giving this free country an ugly face just like UR grand parents who were slave owners and black haters, U hate Muslims & islam
medcenman 2 years ago
He didn't say he hated Islam, whatever that really means, what he is saying, is that there is a definite double-standard. The same rules do not apply for Americans as for Muslims. You can blasphemize Americans all you want and it's just criticism. We criticize back and we're bigoted. I'm in the middle on many of these issues. Yes, the US has done a lot of wrong. Supporting Israel more than Palestine for one. However, Muslims can come here and feel safe, we can't do the same in a Muslim country.
eyvaldaneshjoo45 2 years ago
Don't pull everyone under the same comb. The Iranians who were chanting "death to america" are obviously not the same ones who are protesting right now. They are the supporters of AHMEDIGETAJOB. "GEE", how stupid can one get? And I've seen plenty of Iranians who have moved back to Iran from the west
GreyAutumn 2 years ago 2
It's like saying Americans are hypocrites because on one hand they're bible-thumpers and depraved sexually on the other. Two different sectors of the population. Like Iran most the hard liners are just rednecks in the States. It's the ignorant people who are intolerant of other peoples. I suspect I would feel very comfortable among educated Iranians and wouldn't find too much to disagree about.
eyvaldaneshjoo45 2 years ago
Some arabs and islamic fanatics are supporting ahmadi & the mullahs BUT NOT IRANIANS. I AM AN IRANIAN PATRIOT from small town & was in Iran &9 out of 10 people hate ahmadinejad&
mullah system. Elections are just shams to mask the dictatorship. Mousavi is one of them too. People are using this chance to stand up against mullahs. Ahmadi & his mullah masters are bunch of criminals, rapists and killers responsible for jailing, torturing and murdering millions of Iranians over the past 30 years.

rrspyke 2 years ago
Harsh words and not very diplomatic, but with some element of truth. Though this no doubt would offend many Muslims when it comes from a non-Muslim, I'm sure many feel the same way. However, there is radical Islam and moderate Islam. The Muslim religion was once very tolerant, however the scholars made comments and interpretations that were anything but that, to change how its practiced. I often wonder if Islam and Christianity are one in the same.

You can't lump everyone together according to their country.
eyvaldaneshjoo45 2 years ago 2
I thought protestors weren't outraged by the fact that Mahmoud won but rather by the margin of victory, and the fact the he won his competitor's home town?
A government is nothing without the people who support it. The people might actually stand a chance of regainning control of their government. Good luck our prayers are with you.

If Obama were to directly help them, he'd discredit the movement. You think it would be helpful for a movement in Iran to be *known* have U.S. backing? That's naive.
lcswoosh 2 years ago
Right, because we haven't backed every moron with a few AKs and one doctor visit short of being in a pysch ward "revolutionary" in the past 30years that said they are fighting for freedom? We've at least given some cash. And The US would not discredit the movement, not that I support the US moving in yet, it has not gotten to the "point of no return" for rebellion yet. IT could still die down by next week and we'll all be talking about what obama's wife is wearing or something useless like that.

First: I don't believe in any god. So piss off.
Second: I fully support the Iranians who want their freedoms, I hope they do not need to take up arms, but if it comes to that, I hope that the US gov will support them, militarily. I liked the video, I just didn't like the Bush statement.

good vid, we agree and word is spreading, support is building globally.can people organize to protect hospitals, and other safehouses etc? streets need to be taken back, basij scum driven back or captured & held in a trial in front of the parlament - does citizens arrest exist in Iran?
This is niaeve - but are some mosques sympathetic to the people of Iran? if so - would the Basjis trash and kill in them? People who know the terain & culture could fill in the blanks on this - block the streets,
