U have to know what to modify too,stock intake has air restriction-port it!that alone is a huge diff- get the right chip for the newer models and watch it accelerate like crazy- u cant match the potential to an rsx type s. Try racing a lightly modded old 16v V DUB 1.8 or 2.0. see what happens.

a VR6 is a slight angle V6. you should check it out pretty weird. Its suposed to be an "Inline Vee 6"

Not just that, a vee with all the exhast on one side and intake on another, 1 camshaft for each set of exhaust,1 for each set of intake, most of all not as wide as a v6 yet a little longer then a 4 cyclinder.

k hate to tell you rsx missed 4th you can clearly hear it. but watever. fyi r32 costs double what an s2000 does and is signifigantly slower. r32 runs high 14s s2000 14flat or better. proven fact! fyi s2000 is a 2.2L motor making 250 and a r32 is a vr6 making like 240ish and weighs 3300+lbs and costs 32grand. alot of bang for your buck huh

the ww's have the tourque advantage...it dont matter if the k20 vtec has more hp... the driver in the rsx needs more experience to beat that 1.8t. stock vs stock... they would both run a 15.10 in a quarter. Rsx dude needs to get rid of the passenger and practice launching... he might have a chance. In conclusion both cars are heavily overpriced and slow....

and only vws that are fast are modified 6 CYLINDERS and 4 cylinder turbos which generally still make less hp then a k20. 175hp vr6 2.8L vs 200hp k20 2.0L RAPED.

u like what u like buddy. but the FACT IS!!! stock for stock production models vw vs honda. hondas fastest stock car is the nsx making around 300hp and is still a smaller motor than the bitch ass vr6. although it costs ALOT its the fastest car made by honda. 2.0k20a1=220hp 2.8Lvr6 175. So i guess that extra .8liters didnt really help huh. no hondas dont make alot of torque, but unlike the vws it makes power.

ok, staying neutral. Number 1 90% of vws engines make less power than a k20. NONE make more than an s2000 and its only a 2.5L motor. The vr6 makes around 70hp less than a vr6 the older ones the 2.8L A k20 a2 makes like 30hp mopre than a vr6 and its half again as big as it. That says it right there. And to the guy about the r32, IT COSTS 32GRAND!!! and runs high mid 14s. WOW nuff said

i love these two cars dueling it out. the deal is that the vr6 is slow. its a nice car, good interior and goods looks (although kinda metro) but it is not a performer. it might be fun to drive but can't match the rsx. you can see this over and over on the streets...

Everyone should know the newer vr6 are governed up the ass. U have to know what to modify too,stock intake has air restriction-port it!that alone is a huge diff- get the right chip for the newer models and watch it accelerate like crazy- u cant match the potential to an rsx type s. Try racing a lightly modded old 16v V DUB 1.8 or 2.0. see what happens.
