I just saw these guys Saturday Night at the Fox Thearter here in Motown, and they BLEW US AWAY! And the show had the Floaters, the Emotions, the Manhattans, Harold Mevin's Blue Notes, the Stylistics and the Dramatics. The Blue Note were REALLY GOOD TOO, but the Stylistics got a standing ovation! WHAT A LIVE GROUP, and they have recorded some new stuff too!
R&B and Rap take notice of what singing and music was really all about and that is class clsss class. So please music industry if you cant find music or make music anymore that makes you feel good as well as makes the world a better place to live in then hand over to someone who can. I just love this group. When my hubby and I went to Rock N Roll Hall of Fame five years ago, I bought the Stylistics CD. Needless to say I wore it out. I told my husband we have to go back so I can purchase a new one. So next year instead of a cruise aboard a Royal Caribbean ship (we both work for them), off to Ohio we will go.
We love this group!! In fact, we decided to do "PEOPLE MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND" in a studio jam session we were having! We don't claim to be the Stylistics at all, but we really did a great job!!! Our page is 4KINGTV and the song is on the second half of the "KING LIVE STUDIO PERFORMANCE" video!

I have just got back from seeing the Stylistics at the Indigo 2, London and they were awesome - as good today as they were 40 years ago with 2 of the original line up!! As 2 of them are now 61 years old go and see them while you still have a chance - put them on your bucket list!! Brilliant!!! A First Class Act!!

Hi, Actully Eban is not singing in a falsetto voice, he singing high tenor, falsetto is really defined as False voice. if he was to sing in a falsetto voice he would not make it thru half of a song because singing falsetto, the voice is weak and it takes more air to sing. i myself sings in Baratone, hi tenor and sometimes bass.
Yeah they do still have it I would love to hear any artist from today's music top the music scene like they did Some 30 or 40 years from now!!! Thx great video!!!

I just love this group. When my hubby and I went to Rock N Roll Hall of Fame five years ago, I bought the Stylistics CD. Needless to say I wore it out. I told my husband we have to go back so I can purchase a new one. So next year instead of a cruise aboard a Royal Caribbean ship (we both work for them), off to Ohio we will go.
I never grow tired of listening to them.

We love this group!! In fact, we decided to do "PEOPLE MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND" in a studio jam session we were having! We don't claim to be the Stylistics at all, but we really did a great job!!! Our page is 4KINGTV and the song is on the second half of the "KING LIVE STUDIO PERFORMANCE" video!

@gibbsfan19 don't forget these are live... listen to the original recordings by both bands and then decide which is better. Personally I like the Stylistics better. :) but Simply Red did it justice.

It's going to break my heart if and when they ever stop singing their music,........They were soooooo amazing in the 1970's when I was 6 or 7 years old,...I was already soooo into them!!!!! They were sooo good then AND STILL ARE SOOO GOOD NOW,...sooo many years later!!!! Absolutely no group like them then,....or now!!!!!

I am a 45 year old white woman and fell in absolute love with the stylistics and EVERYONE of their songs in the 1970's,....no group like them!!!!!! Even now when I hear their songs,....l get goose bumps. I have two adult children,....who had no choice but to listen to their music over and over again AND now they love them as much as I do!!!! STYLISTICS FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just got back from seeing the Stylistics at the Indigo 2, London and they were awesome - as good today as they were 40 years ago with 2 of the original line up!! As 2 of them are now 61 years old go and see them while you still have a chance - put them on your bucket list!! Brilliant!!! A First Class Act!!

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! Haven't heard in over 35 years, and instantly brings back memories and feelings. If this is recent (late 2000's), then the Stylistics are still on top of their game.

Hi, Actully Eban is not singing in a falsetto voice, he singing high tenor, falsetto is really defined as False voice. if he was to sing in a falsetto voice he would not make it thru half of a song because singing falsetto, the voice is weak and it takes more air to sing. i myself sings in Baratone, hi tenor and sometimes bass.
