Making a case for the protection of sharks

i came to love sharks by the discovery channel shark week so awesome how they are so adapt to a specific functions and the wide variety and subspecies, rays ,maco,bull,cookie cutters,and so on,truly amazing creatures

it should be completely outlawed to hunt those animals, they are at the end of the food chain and keep the ecosystem stable and keep evolution working.

and why does the EU fail to stop european nations from whaling? the norwegians attempt to drive some of the biggest species of mammals into extinction, and the only way to stop it seems to be to financially support "domestic terrorists" that then attempt to sabotage and sink those whaling-ships. its a complete failure of politics.
