My beef with Universal Health care is that our taxes would get MUCH higher. There are good and bad things about Universal health care. If you went to Canada, you couldn't see a doctor because you are not a citizen. In the US, anyone can go to the ER and receive treatment. People are denied care in Canada, it's the nature of rationing. In the US, you get treatment regardless of your money situation.

Where does the money for the extra taxes come from? 5% of the population pays 95% of the taxes. Are you going to tax the rich more? They already lose 60% of their income to taxes. I believe in a flat tax, everyone pays the same. Then we cut out ALL the entitlement programs, ie. welfare, food stamps. That will give people an incentive to work. Also, all goods coming into the US are taxed 50%, that way manufacturing will come back.
Another good idea is to stop out sourcing jobs. Get rid of NAFTA and GAT. Secure the border (because illegal immigrants are a great burden to the health care industry). Oh yeah, and tort reform. Health care also costs a lot because doctors do extra tests to avoid law suits.
Taxes go to pay bureaucrats, not help the people. The public sector is running this country dry. For every teacher, there is a union rep (not literally, but it seems that way). In CA, we are in huge debt, but the legislature gets paid the most of any legislature in the country. How could that be? They can't balance a budget but they get to live their lavish lifestyles?

What this piece fails to do is show that President Clinton had a plan for regime change in Iraq in the late 90's called the Iraq Liberation Act. The bill swiftly moved through Congress and was signed by Clinton. This was based on intelligence gathered BEFORE Bush. The "Bush Lied, People Died" mantra is just a way for the Dems to avoid taking responsibility for their actions. The truth is Saddam did a good job of making EVERYONE believe he had WMDs.

Many people forget that Iraq was bombed WAY before the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
1) Clinton bombed Iraq in 1993 in response for an attempted assassination by Iraqi agents on former president Bush Sr while on his visit into Kuwait.
2) Clinton bombed Iraqi troops in 1996 because they moved into restricted areas of the Kurdish cities and villages that they not allowed in.
3) Clinton bombed Iraq for four days in 1998 because of Saddam's refusal to comply with UN resolutions.

The USA formed a coalition and gave Sadaam one final warning (he already had over 100), tell us the truth about your WMD and let weapons inspectors in. He said that he DID have WMD and would still refuse to let the inspectors in. People expected a room labeled "WMD" to be sitting in Baghdad, just waiting to be found.

The 2003 Iraq War was a continuation of the Gulf war that began in 1990 when Kuwait was invaded by Iraq, ended up being kicked out of Kuwait in 1991 by U.S./UN forces, and a ceasefire agreement was signed by UN and Iraq. The renewed ground hostilities in 2003 started when Iraq refused to comply with UNSCR 1441 and UNSCR 687. Any of those violations gives the US and it's allies the right to go in and depose Saddam Hussein's regime. Didn't happen until 9/11 that is.

My beef with Universal Health care is that our taxes would get MUCH higher. There are good and bad things about Universal health care. If you went to Canada, you couldn't see a doctor because you are not a citizen. In the US, anyone can go to the ER and receive treatment. People are denied care in Canada, it's the nature of rationing. In the US, you get treatment regardless of your money situation.

Where does the money for the extra taxes come from? 5% of the population pays 95% of the taxes. Are you going to tax the rich more? They already lose 60% of their income to taxes. I believe in a flat tax, everyone pays the same. Then we cut out ALL the entitlement programs, ie. welfare, food stamps. That will give people an incentive to work. Also, all goods coming into the US are taxed 50%, that way manufacturing will come back.

There is, in fact, much more evidence that there was NOT an WMD program and that this was known by the Bush Administration.

The point that this video is provided as evidence in support of the Gulf War II. There is evidence that Saddam Hussein did not have an active program after the turn of the millenium. There is no evidence that he did.

What this piece fails to do is show that President Clinton had a plan for regime change in Iraq in the late 90's called the Iraq Liberation Act. The bill swiftly moved through Congress and was signed by Clinton. This was based on intelligence gathered BEFORE Bush.
