Also, you can keep a plant in vegetative growth as long as you want! 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness will keep it growing and growing , but can be controlled so no worries there. What you want to do is get a very healthy female plant, keep it in the vegetative state and make it your "mother" plant - clone it! It is not that complicated I promise you a little research will show you how. Then you have exact copies of your super dank mammajuana! Keep growing!

9 leaves is actually not uncommon. I grew last year and found some with even more - Your light cycles throughout your vegetative growth period of the plants dictate the foliage your plant will produce. Basically, when light is at a set time after the plant sprouts, it wants to produce as many leaves as possible to take in all the light it can get, just like the roots dispersing downward to cover more area of the soil. Your plant looks healthy. With 12/12 you will know soon the gender of it. :)

You have a 9 leaf plant because it is not a pure plant species. What you have is a cross breed. Most likey a cross breed between a sativa and an indica. Sativa's are usually tall and indica's are usually short. Whenever someone cross breeds the 2, many different things can happen. ll i can say is that it should produce an amazing bud system because the plant was engineered that way most likely.

That setup will work for now, but later you will need more light to finish growing your plant. I'd recommend about 2000 Lumens per plant. Good luck.

the number of blades is mostly a function of size (or development). Seems to be slightly strain dependent. I've seen up to 11, but several books on the subject claim to have seen large plants with up to 17 blades.

until u get a female. then u cut off those bottom 3 set of leaves n clone them for constant females of good bud. n if u do happen to keep growin i recommend investin in HPS bulbs (high pressure sodium) they work probably tha best. also pick up High Times Grow Guide 2010 and ull b even more satisfied and take ur growin skills to tha next level

what u need to do is foilage feed (sprayin water on tha leaves) it at 12 hours ah dark so tha water doesnt magnify tha light n burn tha leaves on tha 12 on. its like an oxygen bar for tha plant. (obviously they take in CO2 but u get my drift). worm castings is always good 2 bcus it has some added nitrogen to it. n cut off about tha bottom 3 set off leaves bcus they wont get enough light in there to bud like that anyways. n ur smart for only growin one. thats what ur supposed to do

9 leaves just means it's a healthy female. Typical sign of a female are 7-9 leaves bit that does not guarantee it will say female it can change in the budding cycle . You are underpowered there though. And whoever said a plant can't be both male and female is a retard. It's called a hermaphrodite. It can pollenate itself and ruin the harvest. Stupid rookies!

First thing you should know is get that foil out of there and never use it again. You're lucky you're so underpowered with the lights or your plant would be burnt, foil causes horrible hot spots due to the way it wrinkles up everywhere. Other than more lights and taking the foil down it's a good job for a beginer, keep it up

@mmgloria25 It's easy. If you take a computer fan, there are black and red wire. Red is + (positive) and black is - (negative). If there are other wires, they're quite pointless.. You simply connect + to a batterys + side and - to - side. (and you should check how many volts is your fan working on, if the batterys volts are bigger, use smalled ones. (example, my fan forks on 4 volts, i could use 3.5V battery))

Pretty nice setup. If you get some Sativa seeds or cutting you could probably grow one plant in that little cabinet from veg all through flowering stage. You might want to make bigger holes so it can breath though. PM me if you want some more advice.

if you want your plant to bud quicker cut off some light time,you trick the plant then it will go straight into budding. i would not matter if you cut those leave off cause or they are doing is taking all the sunlight not too good for the buds, if you would want bigger buds cut those big sun leafs off . a few days proir of harvest, skin the bottom of your stem then your plant will get scared think its gonna die and shoot all the goods to the flowers (buds).

Cool method. Never seen it done in a locker. But it looks like your lights maybe to close and foil magnifies heat. Optimal growth is 80 degrees. A nine leaf plant that's good. Meaning veg is optimal. I seen 13 finger leaves before. It just happens. I seen a plant that only had three finger leaves only.. Crazy things. Looks good.

I'd recommend that if your gonna start budding you should stake the plate up cos its a scrawnier version of its outdoor cousin so the stake will hold the plant up cos those buds get heavy for those poor ladies. But thats pretty healthy for most indoor plants, most get bugs but the 9 leaf thing is ok nothing wrong its just a different trait that people aren't used to. Just give me some of that bud ;D JK

Yeah, nine leaves is normal, thats what mine has. Sativas get up to 13, have you set it into 12/12 light cycle yet? be prepared for a growth spert of about up to a foot. If thats the only one you got going keep in mind the possibility of it being a male if it isnt already showing it's sex. and it is gonna reek when its in flower so you better get a lot of fabreze or incense.

Ive got some Q's and tip:

Why grow only one plant with a card (if you do have a card;) . If your growing only one plantthen you should plant 4; chances are 2 will be male and 2 female, that leaves 2; form those 2 there will be one strong one.

Second; you will get alot more power from the lights if you use "MYLAR" instead of aluminum, it basically doesnt do much...

Still badass setup! might outgrow the boxtho
