Despite mine being 2 wheel drive, and the turf tires, I drive it through a creek with water up to the seat and it didn't get stuck. It's only real thick mud that clogs up the treads that you will have a problem with. Mud tires will help a ton also. If it's a 4x4 then nothing will stop it.
yea, i just got a bayou 300 4x4 all time 4x4 last saturday, idk what the year model is but i got it because my 1998 suzuki lt 160 quad runner was getting boring, but it would also go alot of places.
Man, what year is that? Its in good shape. Is it a 4x4? I have a 1991 bayou 300 2x4, the ole thing will go any where, i love it. I wish it had a little more ground clearance though, its tuff going through mud with ruts, but it goes the no ruts and soupy stuff no problem.
I just sold it a couple weeks ago. It was a 1998. Frame just painted, new mud guards all around, full carb and airbox mods. It ripped. It just didn't have the ground clearance like you said. I just picked up a new 2009 kx 100 dirtbike to replace it. absolutely love it.
